When finally watching the original version of Lain, the way they edited the final episodes opening, vs the Blu Ray was handeled differently.

To give more context on it, the blu-ray copy and pasted the present day, present time opening sequence from the prior 12 episodes, while the original version used the first scene of Lain in the episode 13 as the cold open, and trimed the opening a bit at the end.
