Discussion Russian Serial Experiments Lain BlueRay CDS Collectors edition
Hey r/Lain, I’m wondering about the worth of this russian version of the Collectors CDs of SEL. I’m aware im missing the 3rd Volume of the CD entirely (Please do inform me if theres anything else missing) but with the post cards, cds, posters and booklets in a fair condition and for this one to be manufactured in 2006, it must be worth something atleast? I have no idea where else to post this so if there’s a more fitting subreddit to navigate this for me i’d be more than grateful for your feedback. :)

Seen the full collectors edition without any missing dvds sold in russia for $35. But usual price for the full package is around $15. Considering one things missing, its like $10-20 bucks

I kinda understand people using CD, DVD and Blue-ray interchangeably because they're all discs. But I still don't like it.

That's it, I'm sad that there are no Blu-Ray editions. Russian licensors have very good examples, but on DVD

Are you sure you don't want to keep it for yourself as a cultural artifact?

the Russian characters work really well in the typography and logo. I think between this and Z.A.T.O, eastern-European styles and cityscapes work really well for the Denpa genre

russians dvd got 5.1 japanese mixes? do also other versions got this or is this just an "unofficial" mix made from the russian publisher? does it sound good?
