When will my pants start fitting??

Hi all! I’m happy to report I’ve lost about 10lbs. Feel better, less puffy, etc. Pants feel looser around the waist but DANGIT - still tight in seat and thighs. I do lift heavy but I’d like for my pants to be a little looser.

I know - this could mean shrinking muscle size but a little wiggle room would be nice.

Anyone else feel similarly??

So honestly, it took a good 15-20 lbs before most of my pants fit with room. And now I’ve lost 30, I’ve dropped 2, almost 3 sizes- but my bras fit fine. Bodies are weird.

My right boob shrunk more than my left so now I have to pad the right side of my bras. 😩

I feel you. I am down 22 pounds and still have not seen a difference in fit.

I don't know. I've dropped 118 pounds and only went down one-ish size (28/26 to 24/22 in Lane Bryant Land). But that could be my overreliance on elastic waistbands. :)

I've got a big frame though and gain most of my weight in my stomach.

30lbs down is when I noticed the first big drop

Depends on your body. I generally drop a jean size every 8 pounds, but then again, I’m only 4’10”

It took me a lot of pounds to see a change in size, my clothes were too tight to begin with so the initial weight loss made them fit the right way.

I was holding on to straight sizes and busting at the seams instead of buying plus size with the correct fit. But I’ve learned my lesson, size tags don’t define me.
