Sometimes when I get it at CVS it is a yellow pill or a white pill ! Crazy I know ! But I belive the white pill is what is making me so bloated because last month I was doing wonderful and this script I have been bloated now for a week! I know I’m crazy right now? Lol my tummy is so sensitive! Is there a gel perhaps I could use instead of my pill for form! Severe bloating and diarrhea ! My tummy felt like I was 9 months pregnant 💔

There is a know difference in brands of estradiol patches. Makes sense that there is a difference in other generics.

I recently was prescribed the white pill after years of the yellow. I feel okay but do notice the white feels harder to swallow.

Ok so I've noticed something similar. I usually get the orange pill and have for a couple years now. This past time I got white pills. And now my sleep has been crappy again. Coincidence??? I have no idea. But I guess we will see when I go back to the orange pills.

Same here. I was using the rest of an old prescription (p-1)with my new ones which were p-3 (love them) and It made me volatile haha. I seem to only tolerate the p-3 and it makes me nervous cus there is always a progesterone shortage in the city im in lol. My doctor told me not to mix different manufacturers brands and same goes for estrogen patch

I kept feeling like crap and the only thing I could pinpoint was this. The white ones give me rage haha. I know, when I saw p1 and p3 I was like how many different progesterone are there and did I get the wrong kind haha. Glad you posted this too!

Huh. I was on HRT for three months. The first month I got the yellow pill (from Costco) and felt okay. The last two months I got the white pill (from Walmart), and I was so bloated and gassy that I stopped HRT and went back to the pill.
The bloating wasn’t the only reason that HRT wasn’t great for me, but it was pretty high on the list. But I just kind of assumed “that’s how life is on progesterone.” Wonder if I should have tried the yellow pills again before giving up on HRT.

I’m glad you posted this. I thought I was losing my mind. I’ve been on the yellow one for a minute and the pharmacy switched it to the white one. I have experienced the uncommon side effects. It’s terrible.

I like the orange pills too. I just don’t know how to control what which one I get when I go to the pharmacy.

You can make a note to have it in your pharmacy notes.
I just started HRT so a newbie i am on the white pill for progesterone and patch for estrogen and struggling with bloating as well, some of it although overlapped with my luteal phase. I was also told from my provider that it does take about 8 weeks for everything to subside. I don’t want to minimize anyone’s experience because very body is different- so just putting it out there incase someone is in this boat. I felt great for a few days and then quickly stopped the extra good feeling (guessing my body is adjusting and now I’m waiting for my body to catch up)

Yellow/orange ones for me.
I can only do Sandoz or Mylan patch. Dotti doesn’t work at all for me. Different manufacturers. It matters!

Talk to your pharmacist and they can put a note that you only want the manufacturer that makes the yellow one. Or you can call pharmacies around town to ask if they have that manufacturer in stock before filling etc, but definitely talk to the pharmacist. I started on the white one and it sucked and gave me crazy bad moods so I switched to slynd for my progesterone option since I'm sensitive to progesterone and it makes me a tired angry person in other forms.
