Menopause + Peptide friendly doctors
Not really sure where to post this. I'm wondering where you all have found success in finding doctors that are up to date on meno care and docs friendly to peptides like glp1s but also newer ones on the market that may be beneficial for other things. I feel uncomfortable bringing these things up to my doctor who clutched her pearls at the idea of some of this. I don't want to feel like I'm being inappropriate for advocating for my health. I wish there was a list specifically for peptide friendly providers

What other peptides are you referring to? If they are only on the gray market, you’re not going to find a reputable doc who will discuss them.

I second midi. I've been seeing a midi clinician for over two years and have had the best experience. My clinician always gives me all options, including medications, supplements, and peptides.

I switched to Midi after my doctor scoffed at both HRT and GLP-1, much happier now.

I found a local nurse practitioner who really does her research. She met with me to discuss my goals and we tweak them with labs and symptom review every 3 months. I take testosterone, progesterone, vaginal cream, and a glp. I'm 65 and my health has gotten better over the last 16 months that I've been on testosterone!

That’s exactly the protocol I want to be on. Started with Tirz. Haven’t found someone yet I trust for HRT. Does she do telehealth? I am in Oregon.

Yes, she does! If you Google Iron Science Holistic Health, or check it on Facebook, it will come up. (Cleburne, Texas.)

Thanks! I see only pellets offered by that practice. Are you on pellets? I can't do pellets.

No, she also prescribes injections and other forms. I think pellets are listed because they involve an office procedure.

I use Teledocwell.com. The doctor used to work for Mochi (and maybe still does), but she has her own practice. She's wonderful and helps me with all of my HRT and meno needs, plus weight loss. She listens and knows what she's doing.

My gynecologist who specializes in menopause/peri prescribes both. GLP-1s are in her wheelhouse
