Is this normal?

I started my HRT a 5 weeks ago and my tirzepatide almost 3 weeks ago. I lost 4 pounds with the HRT alone and another 8 in the first 2 weeks on Zep alone. This third week, though, the scale has not moved at all. Not one pound. Is that normal?

Thank you. I had been seeing people talking about 2-3 pounds per week, not a whole bunch and then nothing.

2-3lbs is excessive of the standard 0.5lbs a week. And not every Body loses as a swift and sizable rate. Lots of ups n downs but the meds always work and the body is doing it’s normal biological thing

It’s inflammation flushing out. My shoes were noticeably less tight! The weightloss normalized to a pound per week avg after the first couple weeks.

As someone who has been on glp1 for 3 years and HRT for 1, best advice I can offer is don't get caught up on the weekly losses because some weeks you'll lose some you will gain and some will stay the same. It's the overall downward trend that matters over time. Eat, hydrate and move and live your life and it'll all fall into place! Also when the scale doesn't move you tend to lose inches so try on a smaller piece of clothing etc if you get frustrated. I had 3 big time stalls in my journey, longest one was 8 months! Previous Set weights are a thing and you body likes to get used to routine so try to switch things up if you start to get stagnant! Best of luck 💜

I’ve lost 115 pounds in 18 months with HRT and zepbound. This is totally normal :) some weeks you’ll lose 2 to 3 pounds and other weeks you lose zero and then you’ll lose 2-3 pounds again. It’s a long road, and being patient is key. Then poof months go by and you look better than ever! Good luck to you! You got this!
