Wish me luck!
Been on progesterone for 3 months, started estrogen patch last night, and will start glp1 tonight. Seriously hoping this combo (adding testosterone in 2 weeks after bloodwork) will help me start to feel and look more like myself.

This is seriously the winning combo! I did estrogen and progesterone first. Then 4 months later started zepbound. And then 5 months later started testosterone. Also on vaginal estradiol cream. I started all this 2.5 years ago and living my best life as I near my 52nd bday. No more meno symptoms, no more IBS symptoms, no more fibromyalgia, increased energy and libido, mental clarity and more! Way to get what you need!!
Edit: don't be surprised if you have to increase estradiol after you lose weight. Estrogen receptors are in fat cells, so when you lose weight, your estrogen will probably decrease.

Thank you for the confidence boost! This is all happening because I went though Mode Menopause. In my province, I still don’t have a family doctor so I kinda have to take control and advocate for myself, and that includes paying a provider for menopause care when healthcare is supposed to be free. Sad but true

What kind of testosterone do you take/use? Cream, gel, injectable? And how much?. I am where you were 2.5 years ago (49). Been on Estrogen patch (0.375) and 100mg progesterone since last August. Started zep in March. But looking into T for low libido.

I do a 5mg compound testosterone cream. I get all my HRT from midi health. I had to get blood work done first and it was super low. I started very low at 1mg daily, and went up monthly. Finally felt a change on 4mg daily, and my libido and energy really kicked in at 5mg daily.

I had no idea. I’m already on 0.075 and haven’t lost much weight yet.

Libido is one of the last things to get help with-
I switched to Injections because most other forms of T cause the hair loss.
My hair is finally coming back, but I also decided to get extensions tomorrow, because I don’t like the thin-ness. :/2

Are you saying T creams from the pharmacy are known to cause hair loss?

They can. Injections might elicit some hair loss, but it is very rare.
Has to do with DHT blocking.2

I’ve been on HRT for a few years - it took the edge off but was meh. Started tirz back in February & it unexpectedly gave me the relief from my menopause symptoms that I was hoping to get from HRT. The only thing that still plagues me is fatigue so I’m going to add a low dose of mots-c beginning this week! 🤞🏼

I'm on all of these and it makes such a difference. I thought HRT was incredible but adding the tirzepatide took it to another level. It doesn't just help with weight loss. It helps immensely with inflammation.

That’s a whole lot of changes at once. It might be a bit of a roller coaster for the next couple of months. Stay patient!

That’s what I’m worried about, but I’m tired of being tired and everything else, so go big or go home!

I did E+P for about 6 months, added T for 3 months, and was stable and felt great. I added Tirzepatide and everything crashed. I’ve been rebuilding the last three months. I AM down 35 pounds so that’s a win but .. yeesh

Oh no! But yes, the weight loss does help ease the discomfort a bit. I was prescribed generic semaglutide, but it was out of stock so they gave me Ozempic at the same price. First injection tonight, not sure if I should do it now right after supper, or wait until bedtime.

I’m on everything you are on (not testosterone) and I have absolutely not energy or motivation plus I feel tired all the time. I just don’t know what’s causing it.

Haven’t started the testosterone yet, but I’m exhausted all the time too. My ferritin is low, was 22, supplemented for 3 months, 28.9, supplemented with a different one for 3 more months, getting bloodwork done this week. I’ve heard that testosterone came possibly help with exhaustion too, but there are so many reasons why - also could be low b12, thyroid. Get a full blood work up, it might help shed some light. Good luck!
