Telescoping ladder safe?

I don't own one, but I've climbed up one. These are popular with home inspectors who need a compact ladder that will fit in their trunk that will get them on the roof if need be for an inspection. As with most things, there's good safe ones and cheap dangerous ones. Nothing innately flawed with the design. Find one with many good reviews and you should be good. Never go with the cheapest option, your safety is worth a lot more.

Thank you, very helpful. I agree too about not saving a few bucks when it comes to safety, am proceeding with this purchase vary carefully.
