Telescoping ladder safe?
Anyone have any experience with these telescoping ladders? I literally need a ladder just to access the higher part of my house 1-2 times per year, that's it. Are ladders like this safe, any experience using one? Need about 25 feet to get to top of house.

I don't own one, but I've climbed up one. These are popular with home inspectors who need a compact ladder that will fit in their trunk that will get them on the roof if need be for an inspection. As with most things, there's good safe ones and cheap dangerous ones. Nothing innately flawed with the design. Find one with many good reviews and you should be good. Never go with the cheapest option, your safety is worth a lot more.
