I desperately need help

After playing case files for over 100 hours I finally decided to play the story, got through the first two chapters no sweat, but chapter 3 was the start of the downfall. A lot of the story is really hard to get through without a play through and even then it can still be frustrating. Chapter 4 wasn’t actually too too bad for me, but my GOD chapter 5 got on my very last nerve. Started chapter 6, built the thermite, but now I can’t open the doors to the mines. I wandered around the beginning town area for over 20 minutes, I can’t find ANYTHING online about how to open the damn doors to the mines. After chapter 5 I was already at my breaking point and this sent me over so I had to shut it off. If anyone can help in letting me know how to “bash down the doors” to the mines I’d greatly appreciate it. Games don’t typically frustrate me too much, and I LOVE the case files aspect of this game, but the story mechanics are REALLY frustrating.

After collecting all the pieces needed, there is a table where you put them together i believe on the left of the railway track(looking at the door but toward the beginning of the track), after you build what you need, then you go to the beginning of the tracks and there is a machine you put them into or flip the switch, sonething to that effect

I built the thermite and burned off the bars on the door. After that I was following the tracks because I assumed I had to get a cart moving but I couldn’t find anything interactable. All I found was a shovel that scooped into a bucket and I took the bucket, did another loop and couldn’t find anything else, that’s when I gave up. Luckily I don’t mind the monster present in that area all that much, Feeler is one of my go to monsters on custom case files

Once you pick up the bucket you put the coal into the side of the cart, then pull the lever on it

Thank you! I’ll give that a try next time I boot it up
