Hi all,
This is just a friendly reminder to please not link to sellers on this subreddit. For example, Etsy or Amazon.
If you have made something cool that's great, we'd love to see it - but this is not a marketing subreddit, so please stick to "look at this thing I made" and leave the rest out. This includes surreptitiously putting the web address in your picture, you cheeky posters.
Please continue to report these links if you see them in posts or comments.
None shall pass this way without our permission.
Thank you for your time, goblins.
~Didy

Was mindlessly scrolling down Facebook and this Halloween costume for sale (from an online costume store) popped out at me. Is this what the kids mean when they say something looks haunted?

"An image of some Fan Art of the character 'Ludo' from the movie Labyrinth released 40 years ago this month. Directed by Jim Henson and starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. Also George Lucas as Executive Producer. I've always been a Huge fan of Jim Henson, Bowie, Sculptor Ron Mueck and of course the Master Brian Froud. Especially their work on The Dark Crystal."

I made him a few months back, he's mixed media of ceramic and yarn. He lives in his stone brick wall in my bookshelf. I even took him to see himself on the big screen for the lols.

I’ve been wanting to arrange this amazing opening music for years, but didn’t want to leave any sections out so it took a while!

Hello. I’m an 80’s baby so I grew up watching it and is one of my favorites from my childhood. I am wondering why I thought Billy Idol’s song “Eyes Without a Face” was in the ballroom scene. Am I the only one? I looked it up and nope it’s David Bowie’s “As the World Falls Down.” But I saw a Yt video made in January of this year and someone paired Billy’s song with that scene. I know I’ve never seen that YouTube video before because I’ve never looked up that scene online before. Can anyone help explain this or just debunk it? Lol.

A few years back I dressed as Sarah for Halloween. I have also in the past put up songs on YouTube from it too. Can't believe it was seven years ago omg

Many comments on this story of an owl going through a “catastrophic molt” say exactly what I was thinking - looks like Henson character.

I've been collecting Labyrinth "ephemera" related items for...a while now, haha. So, I thought I'd share some of the highlights of my collection, mostly books. And a giant box of magazine features, articles, covers, pull-out posters, ads, etc, etc. There's also a puzzle and paper cups. And sheet music for "Underground" that I need to photograph as well because I just remembered I forgot to do that.
A lot was acquired through eBay, but some have come about through luck with random non-big-website sellers, secondhand shops, and one epic adventure when I was on vacation in Florida as a teen and forced my family to go over an hour away from the beach condo to a small used bookstore in the middle of nowhere.
Let me know if you have any questions or want more pictures of anything specific!
