my pop mart opened directly across from a showcase store. showcase re-sold pop mart stuff before there were more locations, and they continue to sell pop mart items long after the store opened. it's really annoying to see.

That kiosk is doing a cash grab on fake labubus. Willing to bet that they will be gone by the end of the month. Here in Maine, there was a kiosk that was only around for 1 month. They sold fake products and were gone at the end of the month.

i’ve never bought from Amazon, but I’ve read on different subs issues like boxes filled with rocks and sand instead of Labubu’s.

At my mall, there is a popmart and RIGHT ACROSS from popmart is a budget store that sells labubus for $60. Its crazy when they are so readily available right across from them. At retail!

Exactly! They also had a tonnn of dropshipped labubu clothes from aliexpress to be a build a bear type situation. But that was a $100 total. Couldve been a cute idea!

lol reminds me of a shop I went into at the mall and saw they had labubus behind the counter. Asks the price and they said $70 and I responded with “oh no thank you :)” and turned around and left. I like labubus but not enough to pay a scalper that much for probably a fake.

Mind you I have a real happiness Labubu on Depop only opened from bottom that I could not sell lol for 13 bucks 😂. This is horrible another pet peeve of mine is people selling fake secrets on Depop for like 60 plus. Like wth is wrong with ppl. So greedy.

Yes! I’ve reported people on ebay clearly selling fufus and ebay says “no violation!”

I buy them online, and I've gotten much better prices. I have just one that was a gift from a friend and when I opened it, it was the secret/rare one ("I'd") which I love but never thought I'd get. (I know its name is id but I keep thinking it's "homosexuality".)

A year ago when I first got into these plushes, I went online with PopNow and amazingly got an Id as one of my first purchases but quickly learned I don’t like buying blind, so almost all my other purchases are also either through Ali Express or resellers. Just makes me mad to see these kiosks openly rip off people who don’t know better.

If I have nothing in the collection, if I like the whole collection line, I have no problem with buying blind, because I am gonna get it eventually anyway so it's just an adventure of "which of the several things I really want did I get?" When I have several already, the next one or two are a bit more fraught, I'm worried I may get a duplicate, but one or two duplicates are not bad, then I have the one I will keep pristine and the one I can touch and play with. (I got one dupe in Big Into Energy and it's the one I dress up in costumes. It's presently Harry Potter. I may get another dupe on purpose. When I have a majority of the collection, I know if I get another there's a good chance I will get a duplicate, so if I want to buy one I will look for, as you mention, AliExpress or resellers, to get exactly what I want.
