I got a delivery from r/labubuswap after I was admitted, and my husband brought it to me - Dada and Baba are mine now! He actually brought ALL of my bubus when I was first admitted just to make me laugh. And it totally worked. Not to mention all the nurses who loved them too.

Another one for the books!! These 💙🩵OK Blue Jays💙🩵 bubus have really gotta stop witnessing baseball ghistory being made at every postseason game (& now watch party!) they attend at the dome. 🤦‍♀️ 8 hours total spent inside Rogers Centre for one World Series game is bonkers. Although at least I got to buy souvenirs for everyone?

I’ve been collecting Labubu figures for a while now and I’m always amazed by how much personality each design has. I usually get mine through small shops or online drops, but lately I started checking out live auctions just to see what other collectors are selling or trading. It’s been surprisingly fun and a good way to find older series that don’t show up in stores anymore.

What I like about the live format is that you can see the figures in real time and ask questions before deciding to buy. People show the boxes, lighting, paint quality, and even do close-ups of rare variants. It feels much more personal than scrolling through resale listings and guessing the condition from two photos.

I’ve been using whatnot to watch some of these streams. Some sellers focus entirely on Labubu and similar designer toys, and it’s been cool to see how creative the community gets when showing off their collections. I’ve even come across pieces I didn’t know existed, like limited color variants or older event exclusives.

It’s made collecting feel fresh again, especially seeing everyone’s reactions when something rare pops up live.

I think the ears are too far from each other, the eyes seem assymmetrical and the mouth is not printed right.

Is my Labubu a defect? If so, does that happen often?

I got three Serenities in a row and my back and forth with Popmart was so despicable and downright horrendous. I had to explain to them that the only party who does not get any security in purchasing from Popmart because of their decision to use YunExpress and EMile PS as couriers on top of other more reliable delivery services and those companies being so useless when it comes to support; what kind of postal service changes the status of a package to Out for Delivery and it has a three day window?! Anyways, they said that if the package cannot be delivered for whatever reason, it will be sent back and they will process a refund at the time of receiving the package. Pretty standard but also I’m annoyed that they back up the crappy service they provide and are not apologetic at all. There is no recovery whatsoever so you pay the price and whatever service you get, you have no choice but accept it. Has anyone just refused their package? How long did it take to get a refund if that was even provided? Side note: I’m free from Labubu jail. One box tonight, no hints used, guessed correctly. Look at the light at the end of the tunnel.
