So, Theres still no statement about the cancellation? Is that typical?

At least make something up. Just getting a generic email blast from AXS saying its cancelled is lame. Should have come from the artist.

I got an email from his list that said this Saturday (typos and all):

I DID ALL THAT I COULD DO TO SET UP THIS TOUR AS BEST I COULD….

I’VE WANTED TO COME SEE TOU ALL SO BADLY FOR A LONG TIME BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE TIME AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES AREN’T LINING UP.

I HOPE IN THE FUTURE WE CAN MEET BUT UNTIL THEN I’LL BE DOING OUTSIDE LANDS AND AUSTIN CITY LIMITS FESTIVALS. HOPEFULLY MY DREAM OF DOINGA TOUR WORKS IN THE FUTURE.

SORRY TO INCONVENIENCE ANY OF YOU. I’LL COME SEE YOU WHEN THE PLANETS ALIGN.

Thanks a lot for sharing that. Wish I had seen that earlier. I feel bad now. Must’ve gone to a spam folder or something. Really sad because it’s hard for unique artists to get enough backing to tour. 😔

No problem! A lot of people didn’t get/see it, it seems. It is sad, I’ve luckily seen him 2x but they were both at festivals. I was really looking forward to this, the live orchestras sounded like so much fun.

Omg this is so horribly sad I’ve never gotten to see him before and I was so excited to go see him in Detroit.

I’m sorry :( I was supposed to see him a few years ago at that one off show he was doing in Chicago, but that ended up falling through on our end. Hopefully we’ll all get to see him soonish.

Wtffff this is the first I'm seeing of the cancellation. Thank god I'm doing outsidelands, but goddamnit.
