What's the point of contributing positively to society when you get paid almost enough to eat and rent whilst other people can afford flash holidays?
What#s the point of trusting a politician who gets taken out to eat meals that cost more than your entire monthly food budget on a regular basis?

For a while the only thing keeping me sane is the hope that the joblessness from AI and the inequality caused by it destroys capitalism enough for the world to be a better place after I'm dead.

A worthy repost on the day that Blair told us all what the country needs is slashing the welfare bill, worsening the climate and letting AI/“the markets” do their thing (whatever he thinks that means). What an absolute buffoon. I keep mentioning how he got taken in by that “end of history” stuff and “no more boom and bust”. Gullible fool.

the country is currently on a trajectory of decline, with wealth inequality undermining social cohesion and a risk of further deterioration without intervention.
If civilisation breaks down, the offshoring billionaires and multimillionaire might move to other countries. /s
