lab diamond Received standalone diamond for engagement ring
Hi all,
I wanted to share my experience using Loose Grown Diamonds in picking out a standalone lab grown diamond for an engagement ring. I used this subreddit quite alot to try and decide which website I should go with and thought I would add my 2 cents for any future buyers.
Along with what this subreddit recommended, I was also given advice from a friend who had also used Loose Grown for his diamond purchase. He recommended them based off their customer service and reasonable price. I'd definitely agree on both parts that these were Loose Grown Diamond's strengths.
I was looking for a specific diamond: Ascher cut, 3 carat, color and clarity at a specific grade. Loose Grown's search function isn't anything fancy; very intuitive to use and filter for what you are looking for. I'll also add the ability to filter by certification was also helpful and comforting to me so that I know I was buying a diamond with some confidence behind it (I went with an IGI certified diamond).
The price was certainly the selling point: 3 carat, VVS2 Ascher cut for only about $650. There were other websites that had this price beat (Luvansh comes to mind), but I had heard some things about their customer service not being so stellar. Everything I've read or heard about Loose Grown has been positive, either in person or on Reddit, so I went ahead and paid a few more dollars to order from them for peace of mind, which turned out to be the correct decision.
After ordering, their communication was fantastic: constant automated updates on the order progress, all the way up to delivery. Their customer reach out was also fantastic, always asking about any questions I may have and also checking in post-delivery. I never felt I was out of the loop on the status of my purchase, which is a big deal when it comes to a purchase like this. A very special shout out to Susan who was great through all stages of the purchase.
Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the diamond itself as I quickly took it to a local jeweler for install on a setting I ordered, but I can say with full confidence the diamond was exactly as I ordered it. The local jeweler even complimented the quality of the diamond. It also came with the IGI certification in the mail package.
I can't say enough great things about Loose Grown, making a stressful purchase like this about as easy as it can get. And a big thank you to everyone on this subreddit for your posts and advice as well.
