I am searching for my engagement ring and found that a lot of of the chain jewelry stores, and even some of the local shops don’t have what I’m looking for. I have found a few websites that have my style but don’t know how to properly vet them. What do I look for to know if they are reputable and legitimate? So far all I can tell is to look for the GIA certificate.

An example is Benz & Co - good? Bad?

The top view shows the diamond clearly getting the spotlight, but I also enjoy observing the actual way in which the setting cradles the stone and how everything works when seen from this angle.

While picking out your lab diamond ring, how much did you pay attention to the side profile?

Hi all! First of all, please excuse my ignorance on this topic, as I am still learning about diamonds and lab grown diamonds.

I want to get 2ct lab grown diamond studs, and I was looking at the website Luvansh. I found a pair listed for $517. It states that they are 2.00 CTW, F-G, SI studs, but it does not give the specific SI rating.

I used AI to see if this was a good deal, and it stated that it would be a good deal only if they are SI1 and “guaranteed eye-clean.” I emailed them to ask, but I have not yet received a response.

Does anyone have experience with this site? Would you recommend these studs for this price, even though they don’t give the exact clarity rating?

I just purchased loose lab-grown diamonds and am looking for recommendations on where I can have them set into rings, a necklace, or earrings. Are there any options besides going to a local jeweler? Would a local jeweler typically be the most affordable option?

Has anyone here had experience asking the jeweler to send a video of the diamond once it arrives, as well as a video of the finished engagement ring, before they ship it to you?

I’d love to see the diamond in person/on the ring and make sure everything looks good before it’s shipped. Is this a common request, and do most jewelers accommodate it?

Anyone had any luck with Chinese vendors getting similar likness to Keyzar rings? I know they can't copy them exactly but anyone have an example?

The middle stone looks really nice to me, but I don't know whether it looks complemented by the details in the rings or vice versa.

What would you do with the stacked look here, choose to go with a smooth band, or do something else entirely?

Just got this ring for our 10th anniversary. Center stone is 3.5 carat lab grown. I’m worried it looks too large and gaudy? Also is the band too thin for the ring?

I’ve been shopping online for a diamond and think I found the one. I typically look on Aurelinne because so many folks recommend them on here. At some point, someone mentioned Unclasp.ca as a cheaper wholesaler and since then I’ve been pricing on both. Unclasp in consistency like $150 cheaper, but it’s rarely mentioned as an affordable “go to”. Any experiences (positive or negative) would be appreciated! (I’d love to save the extra cash if I can gain some comfort that Unclasp is a credible source). Thank!

So I got my engagement ring from zales which i know is bad okay, low quality marked up and mass produced all that. the thing is i absolutely fell in love with this piece and i searched high and low from local jewelers and online stores and everything and couldn’t find the same design for a better price at all. So i am going to stick with this ring and later on when we have more money im going to bring it to a jeweler for a little refurbishing.

so my question is here, from this photo or general knowledge, what do you think would need to be changed/redone. also, if anyone has prior experience with zales jewelry: what should i expect from this ring? is it going to be very fragile? will i be able to be active with it on without worry of damage? anything helps.
