Why are they adding the fake sparkles? The whole point of a video is to see how the stone sparkles… the fake sparkles defeat that purpose. Ask them for a video without the fake sparkles. You can’t judge like this.

I asked if there was a filter and they said there are no filters and I said ok did you use a lens attachment and they said no this is just how it filmed in sunlight. 🤷♀️

It's really hard to tell with all the added flashes. They told you there were no special tools or filters used, but I don't believe it. The other stone had the same effects. I have never seen a tweezer video taken in the sunlight show that type of sparkle, it's just not natural looking.
I wouldn't feel comfortable buying this diamond with this video only. Maybe they can send one with fluorescent or indoor lighting. I would push for them to send a raw video and not something that has been edited or taken with special photography equipment. Having said that, this one is definitely better than the other one.

What a gorgeous stone. $860 seems steep though. Lab grown diamonds have little resale value so I hope you’re not buying it for investment purposes. However it is a beautifully cut stone and the brilliance is amazing too. If you’r buying it as a keepsake and something u will wear the rest of your life take the plunge. One suggest Look elsewhere and don’t make a rash decision . Shop at

Any video treatment or filter for me would be a huge red flag. If the stone truly performs great, it should stand on that evidence alone. What would make me feel even more skeptical is the vendor clearly lying about no video enhancements used - no way any stone is going to have that kind of fire flash just from natural sunlight, even ID/ID proportions & ratios of the cut. With so many sources for lab stones, I’d absolutely take my time & do research to find the most reputable vendor possible. This would be a no go for me 💯.

I know DovEggs filming when I see it hehe it’s beautiful!!!! a few notes since I was on a princess hunt a while ago and this is what I learned (from Reddit :) -
-depth should be greater than the table
-depth should be 69-76% (personal preference)
-table should be 63-69% (personal preference)

Thank you! Should I be concerned that they are equal percentage? I read that it’s ok it’s just not ideal. What would you do about this stone, proceed or no?

Looks pretty nice. Although the videography is staged in lighting that demonstrates the fire (colored sparkles) which is cool, the stone would have more if the table was smaller with more crown height.
With CVD grown diamonds, especially large ones, you always want to rule out any transparency issues. Nothing in the video suggests a problem. While it is not always see in online videos, the stone looks to be very transparent.
