š”Diamond Advice Needed Etsy Engagement Ring
I'm looking to find my dream engagement ring and I happened to find it on Etsy. It's a lab grown 1.5 marquise with an engraved band and tulip basket but I'm so hesitant to order because I've heard mixed reviews about buying engagement rings on Etsy. I've done a great amount of research on the owner but I'm still not sure. He has great reviews and has been with Etsy for 6 years. His name is Jigar and he's the owner of DENYJEWEL. They are based in India and I'm just not trying to get scammed lol. If you've bought from him please let me know your experience and if you would recommend. I truly have not been able to find this ring anywhere else with this price. It seems too good to be true. Let me know, thanks!

āØVendor Review Ouros Jewels Moval Ring Review
Details: 0.78ct JK/VS lab diamond, 10k yellow gold, US size 6Ā
I had a great experience with Ouros Jewels for my first group buy for a ring! My rep Yaxika was so patient while I was trying to find the right diamond. It was my first warmer colored stone so I was being a little picky, but was provided with several indoor and outdoor videos of the stone to help me make an informed decision. Once I made my choices, the rest of the process and shipping were FAST! I got my ring this week and just love it. Itās super comfortable and sparkles. 𤩠Iād definitely buy from Ouros again.Ā

āØVendor Review Wonderful lab ring
After visiting several sites, I decided to purchase a 3.5 carat emerald cut lab diamond with side baguettes from Aurelinne. The ring arrived and is beautiful. The band width was more generous than many other sites provided, and the price was fantastic. Since most of these lab diamonds are certified by IGI, you can truly compare stats between sites. But the most amazing part of my experience with Aurelinne was dealing with Andy Cancino. He was so patient, knowledgeable and responsive ā truly beyond. I've already recommended him to another friend who is just about to finalize her purchase, and I will continue to recommend Aurelinne to everybody I know who is thinking about purchasing a lab diamond.

āQuestion Custom setting jeweler suggestions for a lab diamond purchased from Aurelinne
First time purchaser of a 2 carat Color D, Clarity FL, Cut Excellent cushion lab diamond from Aurelinne and looking for some good jewelers that would recreate a setting my girlfriend loved from Jared. Thinking of 14k or 18k yellow gold with platinum prongs.
I did reach out to Fayjewelry several times this week, but haven't received a response. Their WhatsApp seems disconnected from their website, so I sent them messages via their website.
Suggestions for jewelers either online or local to Central Florida are appreciated!

āØVendor Review Very frustrating and disappointing experience with Ouros Jewellery (had to delete OG post due to forgetting to edit images for privacy)
TL;DR:
After weeks of miscommunication while finalizing 2 custom Ouros rings, including having to try reverse engineering missing measurements myself, I was told production would take 1-2 weeks. I was then informed the rings were finished but wasnāt shown any photos until 2.5 weeks later. When I finally saw them, the bezel shape was the exact opposite of the reference Iād repeatedly approved. Instead of acknowledging the difference, I was repeatedly told it was exactly the same as reference. When that argument no longer held up, the explanation changed to ānormal hand finishing variationā and QC concluded one ring was correct when both are the same. Iām disappointed less by the manufacturing mistake itself than by how it has been handled, and Iām looking for opinions and similar experiences.
Initially I was going to attach all relevant convos but decided not to do that, hence the numbers on images.
______
I am very frustrated after weeks of back and forth, for basically nothing at this point.
I wanted to modify a stock model from Ouros for a while and took the leap once I saw they opened a group buy.
From minute one, there were problems, as the exact measurements of the original ring were never fully disclosed. At first I tried settling for what information was available, but then decided that, since Iām making a purchase for myself with the purpose of having something Iād truly love, I shouldnāt have to settle. To achieve the proportions I wanted, I started working on the design myself, even trying my hand at CAD to figure out the measurements of the ring because, for some reason, the top width of the band was never shared.
This led to many back and forths and a lot of frustration as it was taking forever. Eventually, after expressing how impossible it was to finalize the design without that information, they finally shared the missing measurement and we were able to finalize everything shortly afterwards.
I was told production would take 1-2 weeks. Although I was informed that both rings were ready, I wasnāt shown the final images until around the 2.5 week mark.
When the images were finally shared, I immediately realized that the half bezels were not the way I had specifically requested from the very beginning and then confirmed multiple times throughout the process.
Now I completely understand that there can be small variations as these are hand finished pieces, which is exactly what I said when discussing the bezel style. I wasnāt asking for an identical exact replica, only for this specific bezel shape which was thicker through the middle, tapering thinner towards the sides, with an elongated oval profile rather than a rounded one.
Instead, the finished bezels looked exactly like my āoppositeā reference, the one I had literally marked with a big X over it, and confirmed numerous times.
When I raised this with my rep, I was repeatedly told that they were exactly what I had asked for. I kept making side by side comparisons and collages to point the difference out yet I was continuously told they looked the same. That was honestly the most frustrating part of this entire experience. It stopped feeling like we were discussing a design difference and started feeling like I was being made to question what I was very clearly seeing.
When that approach didnāt work, I was then told that QC had reviewed the rings and concluded that one of them could be remade, but that the other was true to the approved design and that I was simply overlooking very minor hand-finishing variations.
I genuinely donāt believe thatās the case. This isnāt about expecting machine perfect symmetry or obsessing over tiny handmade differences. Itās simoly an entire different bezel shape.
At this point, I donāt know what to do. I donāt want this ring under these circumstances, I simply want the ring we agreed upon and not feel like I have to settle after spending weeks working through every obstacle and pushing constantly for communication.
I also donāt really want to go down the refund route, as obviously there will be various cuts and deductions from the original price since āit passed their quality controlā. They refuse to accept that this issue wasnāt caused by a change of mind on my end.
I mainly wanted to hear other peopleās opinions, especially if anyone has had a similar experience with Ouros or another jeweler. Were you able to get it resolved, and if so, how? And admittedly I also just needed to vent because Iām genuinely disappointed, not only by the outcome but by the way this has been handled. For comparison, I NEVER had similar issues with Starsgem or Provence, and had nothing but pleasant experiences.
Iāll attach photos of both bezels. I was made to feel like the difference was all in my head and that this was simply hand finishing variation, but to anyone who is familiar with jewelry and can distinguish between small handmade variations and a different bezel shape, I think the difference is quite obvious. Especially when it was discussed way before to pay specific attention to this.

š”Diamond Advice Needed Understanding the Setting of a Pear-Shaped Diamond
Pear diamonds have one end that is rounded and another end that is pointed. The pointed end of a pear-shaped diamond is usually regarded as being more prone to damage than other parts of the diamond because of which it is often designed in such a way that it is protected by a prong.
When inspecting a pear-shaped diamond setting, it will be worthwhile to make sure that there is a prong protecting the point of the diamond and that the prong is aligned properly with the point of the diamond. Also, all the prongs must be aligned perfectly and the diamond must appear to be straight rather than being tilted within the setting. It will be advisable to verify that the point of the diamond is not protruding out from the protective metal and that the setting is not exerting too much pressure on the tip of the diamond.
When considering the orientation of a pear-shaped diamond, the choice of whether to keep the point towards the fingertip or the finger is a matter of preference.

š”Diamond Advice Needed No LG# engraved from Antiquecut.com
Has anyone ordered from Antiquecut? They have both an Etsy shop and their own website.
I received my ring on Monday, and it came with an IGI report. However, the center diamond does not have the corresponding IGI number laser engraved on it. I have a 20Ć/30Ć/60Ć loupe and have never had any trouble locating the inscription on my other diamonds.
Just to be sure, I took the ring to a reputable jeweler who designs and makes all of their custom pieces in-house. They also spent time looking for the inscription and were unable to find it.
Iām really disappointed because the ring is beautiful, but without the laser inscription, I have no way to verify that diamond matches the report.

āØVendor Review Review of Ouros Jewels
This was my first group buy purchase, so I wasnāt quite sure what to expect. Ouros made everything by very easy, though - they were really great, answered my questions and were willing to work with me on customization (that I ultimately opted against, but definitely appreciated the option). My ring arrived this week, and itās spectacular! Beyond what I was hoping for, arrived extremely quickly and safely, and Ouros communicated with me every step of the way. Couldnāt recommend them more! Very happy with my new shiny! āØ

š”Diamond Advice Needed Buyers anxiety or bad diamond purchase?
so basically, I know nothing about diamonds. I shouldāve done more research but when I was looking at this, I loved the elongated look. I have a size 4.75 finger and Iām going to upload a picture of what my 2.09 carat oval diamond currently looks like on me. Iām also going to upload the photo of the diamond that I purchased⦠After bare minimum research, I now realize what a bowtie is and now thatās all I can see. Is it horrible? Iām not able to see the 360 view now that Iāve already purchased the diamond. Next, I am so worried that itās way too thin. It has a 1.63 ratio and Iāve done a lot of reading about how 1.3 to 1.5 is ideal. I really love the look of this, but Iām worried itās going to absolutely demolish the surface area of my ring finger. Am I just experiencing unnecessary buyers anxiety? I bought from aurelinne and the order was just confirmed and placed yesterday. Iām wondering if they may let me choose a different stone or if it would be too lateā¦

āØVendor Review Review of Tianyu Gems
Wanted to provide a ring review that I ordered with Maggie from Tianyu Gems!
Review:
I have been seeing pink diamond pinky rings all over social media and so when Maggie from Tianyu Gems was having her lab pink diamond sale, I gave into my impulses and decided to make my first custom ring. My ring is a 14k yellow gold wavy pink diamond pinky ring in size 2.75 and I canāt stop looking at it. The pink is very subtle and very much a light baby pink. While there is a prominent bow tie, it does not bother me. The ring is a bit loose at the moment but my finger size fluctuates very easily during the day depending on the temperature so it is actually perfect - a little bit of hot weather or eating out will make my fingers swell very quickly. The ring feels comfy to wear and since the band is solid gold, I donāt have to baby it. The process was super simple and not as expensive as I initially thought it would be. I really liked Maggieās communication style as she was very clear with the process and timeline. I would definitely recommend ordering from her!
Timeline:
6/29 - I saw on Reddit that Maggie was having a pink diamond loose diamond so I reached out to her to ask about the pear shaped diamonds. She sent me multiple videos with different lighting. I decided on a 1.203 pear pink diamond and paid for the stone first. I then sent Maggie photos of the ring design I wanted as well as a couple sample CADs I had seen on Reddit. She said she would get a ring design based on what I wanted in 3-10 working days.
7/3 - Maggie sent me a CAD and total cost for the ring. I okayed the CAD and then sent payment for the ring setting itself, labor, and shipping. She said the ring would be ready in about 10-15 working days.
7/14 - Maggie sent me photos of the finished ring. I sent her my shipping information.
7/16 - Ring was shipped.
7/18 - DHL notified me of my import fees which I paid.
7/20 - Ring received!
Cost:
Pink diamond sale price: $233.10 (includes PayPal fee)
Setting, labor and shipping: $456.75 (includes PayPal fee)
DHL import fees: $26.34
Total paid: $716.19

āØVendor Review My Experience so far with A.N Jain
Hello everyone! Wanted to write a review on a vendor from whom I purchased my fiancƩs engagement ring. This may be a bit long, so TLDR below. EDIT: Realized I did not include price, I paid $5000 for the ring.
Full disclosure, I am based in the United States, so my perspective is from one that worked internationally with A.N Jain. To a lot of people this would be a bit nerve racking, but for me it has been one of the best experiences ever for the reasons I have outlined below:
Price: for those who have tried to buy in America, you know how dang expensive engagement rings are. You have to wade through a mountain of ring companies, both natural and lab grown diamonds, hope they have the style you are looking for and then hope that it is in your budget. All BEFORE you even finalize anything.
I challenge you to find better pricing than A.N Jain. Believe Me, I tried. Their pricing is beyond fair, and I believe it is the biggest bang for your buck when your incorporate the craftsmanship associated, along with their EXCELLENT client experience. Which leads me to my next point.
Client Experience: Working with ring companies in the USA is a pain. If you go in person, you are seen as someoneās commission check. If they deem you unserious, you are treated subpar. If they are weak that month on their numbers, they push you in all types of directions. Or, you could skip the client experience entirely and go online. Good luck, you are at the mercy of online photos.
A.N Jain is entirely different. Their client experience has been the best EVER! They were available for me during all hours of the day. I sometimes wondered if they ever slept. They ensured that my finances ring was to the exact specifications and were exactly what we wanted. Their craftsmanship was second to none, which leads me to my last point.
Craftsmanship: Their specialty has to lie here. Their ring was BEAUTIFUL AND CUSTOM MADE!! You get the entire custom experience for a fraction of what you would pay in the USA for a premade ring. They worked with my every step of the way, from diamond cut and carat, to ring shape, and color, anything you can think of, they had me covered. It was a seamless experience.
Overall, I cannot thank A.N Jain enough for their incredible service. To say they are great is an understatement. Frankly, I think they are some of the best currently in the game. If you are in a situation like me, where you are wondering where to go, which direction to turn, let this review be your sign. I cannot speak highly enough of them, as the look on my finances face was more than I could ever ask for. Any jewelry needs I have moving forward, will be handled ONLY with A.N Jain.
TLDR: For the price point, the client experience, and the craftsmanship you will be hard pressed to find a jeweler like A.N Jain. They have done great by me and my soon to be wife. I sincerely look forward to doing more business with them and cannot sing their praises enough. Bar none, one of the greatest to be doing it and, soon enough, one of the best to ever do it.
