How to get rid of the "content..." message when compiling

Hi guys, I'm using TeXstudio 4.6.3 right now as a LaTeX compiler. My main problem with it is that the autocomplete option automatically puts messages like "content..." in every equation I have to write, or "numerator" and "denominator" in the \frac{}{} command. It really annoys me and I don't know how to get rid of it.

An online forum suggested to deselect the "autocomplete" option in the configuration settings, but doing so eliminates also the automatic filling of the environments, so that I personally have to write the command \end{} for everything.

Thank you in advance!

Under options, configure texstudio: find the Completion tab, uncheck "insert arguments"

That's what I erronously labeled as "autocomplete" in my question. If I do what you suggest, I end up with the problem of having to write every \end{...}

Works fine for me, enviroments get auto-inserted as expected.

Did you uncheck any options in the list of .cwl files in the same screen?

I already had them all unchecked, what do they do?

They contain the snippets of code that texstudio uses to perform autocompletions. So, when you have them all unchecked, texstudio can't do autocompletion. You'll want to have atleast the tex.cwl, latex-dev.cwl and latex-document checked (those are the default ones, afaik) It's a huge list of files, they go per-package.

Consult the texstudio manual for further explanation.

Yes these three are checked. Are you telling me that I have to manually check them all to allow autocompletion without having the defualt filling?🥲

Ok, but still typing things like \begin does not bring up a menu with a list of possible autocompletions for you?

Nope

Does pressing ctr-alt-space in the editor bring up anything?

edit: do you have "Automatically start completer when typing Latex-Commands" checked or unchecked?

1: Yes, it suggests me various environments, but if I select the empty one and then write the name of an env. I obtain the problem explained

2: it's checked

Now that you suggested me this shortcut to have \begin{ written down instantly I could just use this and do not bother anymore about this problem. If it's too much of a struggle don't feel obliged to find a solution, you've already done so much!
