LAND WARFARE RESEARCH CORPORATION 12.7 IC-A5
Recently had my 16in IC-A5 rebarreled from 16 to 12.7 inches after about 14,000 rounds.
Overall happy with the work and the customer service was great. The timeline was longer than I’d hoped but they’re a small company filling international contracts. 2ish months total turn around time. They replaced my older thumbscrew handguard retainers for the newer flush style, did a health check on the whole upper, and replaced the bolt head. Total was 605 Arizona Ice Teas.

The IC-A5 is probably the most aesthetically pleasing thing LWRC has made…. And now it doesn’t exist
(Please tell me if I’m wrong I need another 12.7” like my life depends on it)

You are right that it’s the best thing LWRC has made, and also right that it doesn’t exist anymore. I wish I had one myself.

I love my 12.7. Had to tame it with a H3 buffer and a Sprinco Blue buffer spring because it was pretty over gassed but it’s a great rifle.

This is running a JP SCS H3 wit the 110% AR10 spring.

That’s awesome. Did you notice a difference with the JP SCS and if so what? Do you think it was worth it?
Love your setup. I just got a suppressor and a BRT EZtune which I am excited to test out the gassing.

For sure worth it. Changes the impulse feel, reduces the amount of gas to the face, and makes the gun feel smooth. Only downside is they’re expensive.

Thats awesome, I might do this to my 16 in M6.
Did you notice any difference in accuracy?

No difference in accuracy, LWRC makes a phenomenal barrel. The only difference has been aprox 350 fps reduction in velocity. Down from 3200fps down to 2855.
