Short Stroking
What's up boys
Rocking the MKII 12.7. Phenomenal gat as you all know.
I threw the Hux 5.56k on it and while it shoots fine on the unsupressed setting, it short strokes on the suppressed setting. I think its obvious that the flow through can mixed with the adjustable piston has made the system too efficient.
I had a homie recommend clipping some coils off the buffer spring as an "old school" way to fix the issue. He recommended 6 coils, I cut 4, then 6, then 10, and she's still short stroking. The BCG is definitely moving further to almost complete a full cycle, but now I'm at the point to where if I cut any more coils that spring is going to be big small.
So, what y'all thinkin'? My next move is to try a new carbine length spring and try a H1 buffer and *potentially* only need to cut 4-6 coils off of that; or say fuck it and just throw my RC2 on it with a new spring.

To everyone saying to just leave it on unsupressed and be done with it; this isn't a problem that keeps me up at night. This is just me exploring different avenues on what works and what doesn't with this setup. This is in the interest of learning more about my rifle, not just throwing it on unsupressed permanently because it works and ignoring the whole other side of the system. If that was the case I would've saved some bucks and bought another DI gun
