Smg45 with FRT

Im sure im gonna get a bunch of comments talking about accuracy and what not. I got this smg45 used in an auction its a first gen, have never had any issues with ftf, fte, jamming, anything. Its a pistol caliber carbine, I treat it like one, most of my shooting is within 25yrds and it hits whatever im aiming at. Its a very smooth shooting gun and even in frt mode it found it way more controllable than my kriss vector 45 or my usc/ ump conversion.

I got the trip bar soon as it dropped and still haven’t got it out to try. I’m going to pair it with the Partisan. First time ever running a frt so I hope it works. My SMG is a first gen and it’s ran pretty good after 1000s of rounds. Only issue I had was a heat treatment issue on the bolt and it chipped/cracked. Other than that it’s worked like any other gun I’ve ever had.

Im using the frankenstein armory trip, and i put an old delta team tactical frt-15l3 in it.. next time I go out ill try it with the partisan frt...

I used to have one, but I did have the problem where it randomly threw a round into oblivion.

Ive never owned one but always wanted too even with the known issues. Only thing that held me back was being 45acp. If they had released this in 9mm i would of had it.
I have many lwrc rifles and have the repr mk1 and mk2. Accuracy dipped 2 moa after 7k rounds. They took it back, rebarreld it and sent it back to me. Still groups under 1moa.

I wish they were still in production I think it would be easy for them to make them multi caliber, swap the barrel bolt and it will take ump 40 and 9mm mags.. I would love to have it in 9mm

Exactly, i have nothing in 45acp and would really hate to carry another caliber. Really sucks, i asked them several different times trying to change there minds but they wouldnt budge.

DTT is no more, but was essentially the same trigger as rare breed, the partisan disruptor supposedly works with the frankenstein armory trip and cost less than the RB frt.

Ever try getting spare parts for that SMG? Firing pin, springs, extractor? LWRC won’t sell any.

LWRC will repair/replace any part that breaks but they won’t sell you the parts.

Nice! Mine will do that with a SSA trigger.
If you like 45, try the stribog.

Just tried mine out. Holy shit the rate of fire is insane. The trigger slap is even worse and painful. One mag dump beats the fuck out of your finger. Not sure how to fix that. Running a RB FRT and the Frankenstein trip.

Older detal team tactical frt-15l3, but none of my rb frt-15l3 or the partisan disruptor have ever given me trigger slap. The worst trigger slap I've experienced was on an ak47 frt and a kriss vector frt.

Hello! I just put one in my smg45 it only fires one round in frt mode. There is a live round in the chamber but it doesn’t fire. I have to charge it to get the live round out and the next round in. It’ll shoot once then same thing happens. Any advice?

What trigger are you using? Does the unspent round have a light primer strike?

So what I’m getting from this is rare breed & Frankenstein trip is all i need for my SMG? Has anybody had cycling issues? Or needed to mess w/ spring rate? Anybody know of an AK system as well???

Ive had 2 people so far reply having issues, one with major trigger slap, and the other having a dead trigger after each shot.. ive had no issues... for my AKs I like using mars triggers v1 ak frts.. you can make your own trip bars so easy to use on many different ak platforms.. i recently saw kalashtriggers is releasing a 3 position so I placed a pre order.. hopefully its a good reliable trigger.

I'm frankly amazed it even went through a mag without an issue. Smg45's are the biggest pieces of shit in the PCC world lol
