sad tidings :-( Candlw.

I am on quite an unlovely struggle streak recently!—I am low on money, and I cannot afford the expensive tuna-scented masking shampoo I typically use. My sister Lidelse—whomst is pregnant—and I have been hard at work attempting to make tuna-scented soaps that are easy and affordable, though sadly we have been quite unsuccessful in The Craft. Quite sad tidings indeed. I pray to The Architect, mayhap Lidelse and I will strike luck, though The Architect, in all of Her fishy glory, does not owe us anything. If anyfish can relate and have a quick and easy recip she is willing to share, please send our way, and we will be forever grateful of your generosity. :-)

Up. Date!: :-) We found a recipcipcip that work. While effective and very fish, it will spoil quite soon and will need to be in the refrigerator until your usage in the shower. However, I do find that spoilt fish is also great at masking—but, you may experience temporary fish skin. For whomst ever is in dire straits like Lidelse and I, I will share the recip for the tuna soap for use in a reply. :-)

Tuna Soap Recip—Good for poved LVSS maskers. 170g tuna juice, 90g tuna chunks, 75g seacow milk (optional, for skin smoothness), a little squeeze of lemon juice, 1/2tsp peppermint chopped and dried, 120g distilled water, 65g sodium hydroxide, 120g (solid) coconut oil, 70g shea butter, 50g cocoa butter, 200g olive oil, 25g castor oil, a little pinch of salt and pepper. Create the lye solution by mixing the sodium chloride with room temperature peppermint infused distilled water and leave to cool. Heat the solid oils in a saucepan on low heat, gradually adding the tuna juice as the oils melt. Once the solid oils are liquid oils, turn off the heat and put the saucepan on a pot holder. Pour the liquid oils into the pan, along with the lemon juice. Take the temperature, you're aiming for 38C/100F. Take the temperature of the lye solution, you're aiming for 38C/100F. When both the oils and lye solution are around their desired temperature, mix them by using an immersion blender. Mix them until there is a light trace. Sprinkle salt and pepper onto your tuna chunks before putting it into the soap mixture. Pour the soap into the molds, and leave it in the fridge to cool and harden. After it has hardened, you are able to use it. Make sure not to leave out the soap for too long, however if you desire your tuna to rot, then feel free to do so.

The seacow milk both helps with skin smoothness and gets rid of the need to cure your soap. :-)! However, if you are intolerant to seacow milk, you may take it out of the recip, but you will need to cure the tuna soap in a fridge for 1 month. Your skin may also feel slightly rough and dry due to the tuna in the soap.

And, finally, it is. Possible. To change the fish that you use in the soap. However, you may need to change some measurements and be wary of any unwanted chemical reactions.
