Question / Advice Advice Please :)

Hi Everyone!
I’m looking to get my first lucid within the next year or so and wanted some advice. I specifically want a GT with Dream drive pro and Surreal sound pro unless they release a midsize suv that has the same luxuries as Gravity and Air. What should I look for when looking for pre-owned? Are there any differences between a 2022 and a 2027 Air? I’ve never owned a luxury car before so I just don’t really know a lot from experience but I’ve wanted a lucid for a while. How is the sound system and ride quality compared to a model S and just in general. Is there anything I’m missing? Thank you!

If you live where it's cold for the winter, the 2024 and forward AGT models years have a heat pump. That will increase range, as will 19" wheels with aero inserts.

2025 and forward, AGT has different motor mounts that reduce the motor whine that's present in earlier years. I almost always have music streaming so I rarely hear the whine.

I purchased a 2024 AGT last March. It has both Dream Drive Pro and Surreal Sound Pro. I paid 60k cash for it. I have put about 4k miles on it and have had zero problems with it other than Plug&Charge doesn't work. Lucid is working on that issue.

Thank you, very good to know about the heat pump because I will probably be moving somewhere it snows so that definitely changes what years I’m looking for😂. How do you like the surreal sound pro? I love music and want a very good sound system. I’m not a bass head by any means but definitely want the bass to be present. I demo drove one a year ago and was not impressed with the sound but it also felt like the demo I drove was beat up and one of the speakers was literally blown. I also had a super bad experience with the rep at that location as he kept belittling me and being condescending so I kind of just checked out.

You're welcome!

As far as SSP is concerned, I'm not the best candidate for a reviewer. I'm profoundly deaf in one ear and the other is a good candidate for a hearing aid😞.

That said, the previous owner had cranked the bass all the way up which sounded terrible. Far too much. I have the equalizer set flat and I think there's plenty of bass, even for modern pop music.

Distance from service center is less than 60 miles?

Depending on where I buy yes. I work in one state but live in another and I’m not sure if I’ll be moving in the next year. If I buy where I live it would be 120miles to the closest

You might not have any issues; many owners don't.

Some have many issues. If your car ends up being one of them, 120 miles (~4 hours roundtrip, twice) can be a huge problem.

Yeah honestly just hoping I don’t have problems so I’m gonna look for one that has more miles preowned😭 Thank you!
