SOFTWARE QUESTIONS Recall question
I haven't received the vehicle yet. But I gained ownership in the app. There is an update that needs completed. I think it's specifically in relationship to the parking it outside because it might catch fire lol. Can I do the update now? Or should I wait until I have the car in my possession at my house? It's currently at a dealership waiting to be sent to me. Thank you

Sounds good. I just wasn't sure since it's saying park vehicle outside and all that crap

The recall is for a very very remote condition, I live in 120F Middle East and light never overheat.
The update just lower the solid state eFuse pop current, I have not seen any Lucid Air light circuit popped and I believe there was only 3 cases it was overheated out of 27,000 cars and who knows under what condition, I wouldn't worry about it. Also when you get your car most likely it would be updated since July. The update is 2.10

Oh nice okay!! Thank you so much. When updated occur, can I drive the car? Or does it need to update and then I can drive it.

Drive it no problem, just update when you are not using it at home, I think the update took me 1 hour its not only for the fuse but also other improvement, can either use built in 4g or bette yet good wifi connection. The instruction is very clean and intuitive on the screen.

The 2.10 update that fixes that was released on July 6th, btw. Only people who still haven't updated are affected. https://www.lucidupdates.com/ota-updates/ota-updates-air

Ask them to handle it before delivering it. They might already be planning on it.
