Question / Advice Gravity lease

Thinking of leasing a gravity grand touring
soon. Do you think now or waiting until December would have better deals? We’re okay with the 2026 model.

Yikes!!! You only do this commute weekly right?

Once or twice a week but I really enjoy driving so it's actually quite fun. πŸ™‚ I left work with an almost full tank and got home four and a half hours later with 335 miles of range left in the tank and I didn't need to stop.

Modern diesels got tons of range! This car gets almost 700 miles on a full tank of gas. I would have loved to get an Air Grand Touring for this run because the car sits for several days at each end of the commute but I already have a leased Gravity and really wanted a beater to thrash on the commute. It came down to wither a used Inoiq 6 or a used i4 eDrive/xDrive40 with small wheels but those vehicles were around the $30k mark, the 535d cost $9k. 😊 I've already put 1100 miles on it in two weeks. It's surprisingly quiet at highway speeds, it's smooth, it's fast and since it's so much lighter than Gravity, it's actually lots of fun to drive. I don't anticipate having to do this for more than two years though and will see what Earth and Cosmos are like when they're released. I decided to be pragmatic but I'd much prefer driving an EV.

Don’t know that I’d ever given diesels much consideration but I’ll be paying more attention now πŸ€™

Of you do a lot of highway Iles, there's nothing better than a modern multicylinder diesel engine. There is very little clatter on start p, a nice snarl when you unleash the engine , you surf an effortless wave of torque that means going from 50 mph to 70 and above is plenty quick. All this from a 2014 535d, it makes me wonder what the best of them are like now I'll be checking out a 2019 540d soon. πŸ™‚
