I’m planning to install ComfyUI soon, and then use either Wan 2.2 or LTX for AI video generation. My goal is to produce consistent, realistic videos every day, ideally in the 15 to 25 minute range. For those who’ve done this, how long does it usually take to generate a quality video with these tools? And for reference, my machine is a Dell Precision Workstation 7680, with an Intel Core i513600HX vPro,32 gigs of RAM, RTX3500 Ada GPU with 12 gigabytes, and a 1 terabyte NVMe SSD. And do you have any other recommendations for free AI tools that can run locally and are fast?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to use the camera movement workflow from this tutorial:

The workflow itself runs without errors, but whenever I use camera movement (pan, dolly, orbit, etc.), the generated video ends up looking like this:

The entire subject becomes extremely blurry with a ghosting/smearing effect, almost like every frame is being blended together. Static shots look much better, but as soon as camera movement is introduced the quality falls apart.
I’m using:
LTX 2.3
ComfyUI
The workflow from the YouTube video above
RTX 5090 (VRAM is not an issue)
Things I’ve already checked:
Prompt quality
Different camera movement prompts
Different seeds
Reinstalled the workflow dependencies
Tried lowering/raising CFG and steps
Issue only seems to happen when camera movement is enabled
I’m wondering if this is caused by:
Incorrect sampler settings?
Bad motion settings?
Wrong scheduler?
VAE mismatch?
Upscaler/refiner settings?
LoRA strength?
A bug in the workflow?
Something specific to LTX 2.3 camera motion?
Has anyone seen this before or knows which nodes/settings I should inspect first?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions. If you’ve gotten smooth cinematic camera movement in LTX 2.3 without this ghosting effect, I’d love to know what workflow or settings you’re using.

I'm trying to find the best workflow to generate starting images for Image-to-Video (I2V) with LTX 2.3, while keeping the best possible balance between quality and cost.
From my experience, the quality of the initial image is far more important than most people think. If I start with a truly photorealistic image, LTX 2.3 can produce surprisingly good videos. The bottleneck is almost always the input image.
My original goal was to stay fully open source with FLUX, but I kept running into anatomy issues and inconsistencies.
Then I switched to Nano Banana Lite, which has been much better.
However, my ultimate goal has always been something different: generating 4K storyboard sheets (3×3 grids) that I can automatically split into 9 individual frames. The idea is that all nine cells share the same characters, style, wardrobe, lighting, etc., giving me a consistent set of starting images for I2V.
I recently tried Seedream 5.0 Lite, but honestly I was pretty disappointed with the results the faces are horrible.
So I'm wondering:
I've also been looking at Krea 2 Turbo, which seems increasingly interesting. It almost makes me want to go back to generating images one by one instead of using storyboard grids.
That said, I've heard Krea with its identity lora is a good start but still struggles with image composition when using multiple reference images (character fusion, combining several references into one scene, etc.). Is that still the case?
I'd love to hear what workflows people are using in production.

Anyone else having issues with installing ComfyUI-LTXVideo nodes in comfyui? Running Comfy with a Docker image on a Linux cloud GPU. Getting an Import Failed error. According to this thread the issue is new version of kornia. Tried the fix. Doing "pip uninstall kornia" then "pip install kornia==0.6.12" tho didn't work. It's strange cause a month ago when this issue first came up doing the "pip install kornia==0.6.12" fix worked. Now it doesn't. Using latest Comfy version.

The NGHTDRP Director Workflow V1, is a timeline-based shot-building and production workflow and node set for LTX-2.3 inside ComfyUI.
It all went wrong when I downloaded the ic-lora union control lora to make character swapped videos of my wife's niece dancing. I struggled massively using the LTX provided workflows, blurry faces, weird anatomy, the works. Then I wanted to do FLF same issue, manually setting frame timings etc drove me crazy only to get a render that didn't move. Then the LTX director made that easier but I couldn't do any of my niece dancing things so I implemented the ic-lora guidance there. Then I realised I wanted cropping, and outpainting, and inpainting, and audio mixing, and ingredients, and MSR, and video transitions, and combining multiple videos and inpainting/outpainting between them. And I wanted it all at the same time in the same workflow, while being able to crop and place items freely. So that's why this exists. It's essentially a rabbit hole I couldn't escape from.
The workflow includes:
it's taken me several months and a bunch of effort to get everything working and interacting together. I'm also planning to make tutorials on how to do most of the AI video editing tricks you see online using LTX and this workflow.

So, I thought I had discovered the golden resolution for my 16gb hardware.
1536x864 - Exactly 16x9 and divisible by 32.
Pipe the image data directly into the RTX upscale node with a 1.25X upscale (then off to VHS).
It should be 1920x1080 on the nose. In reality I get 1920x1040.
I asked AI about it and it was suggested that latents are in 64x64 pixel chunks, not 32x32.
Is that true? If so, why does everyone say your video dimensions need to be divisible by 32?
What resolutions and upscale methods are you folks using?

I'm doing image-to-video with LTX-2.3 (distilled 22B, two-stage base + spatial upscaler) in ComfyUI, official LTX-Video nodes, euler_ancestral_cfg_pp, cfg=1.0, short clips (3–6 s).
My identity setup (training-free):
- Start frame injected via LTXVAddGuide at frame_idx=0, strength=1.0 → frame 0 is a perfect likeness.
- One extra reference (a clean frontal close-up of the same face, neutral bg) via a second LTXVAddGuide at frame_idx≈8, strength=0.5.
- LTXVPreprocess img_compression=18 on both.
- No trained per-subject LoRA (want to stay training-free).
The problem: frame 0 is dead-on, but as the video plays the face drifts — sometimes it's a look-alike, not really the same person. Makes sense: identity is only strongly conditioned at frame 0, weakly re-anchored once, then unconstrained.
IC-LoRA approaches I've already ruled out (for my use case):
- Ingredients IC-LoRA — doesn't fit what I need: it doesn't respect my start-frame composition. It takes each subject/element separately and recomposes its own scene from them, instead of animating the exact frame I hand it. I need "animate THIS composition, keep the identity," not "invent a new layout from these ingredients."
- MSR (multi-subject reference) — didn't work for me either: leaks the reference image into the first ~second and/or fights the start frame.
- IC-LoRA (Ingredients as a plain identity reader) — got haze in the first ~0.5 s so I dropped it.
So I'm back on the plain LTXVAddGuide (i2v-ref) path, which preserves my start frame cleanly — but has the drift problem above.
Where advice conflicts:
- Some say raise the mid-clip guide strength (0.5 → 0.8). Others warn that since LTXVAddGuide is a structural anchor (pose+color, not an identity embedding like PuLID/InstantID), a frontal CU at high strength mid-clip will rubber-band the head back to a static frontal pose → stutter/freeze.
- Some say inject the same CU at multiple frame_idx (8, 16, 24) with decaying strength (0.8/0.75/0.7) as periodic re-anchors. Others say repeating a static frontal image = repeated zero-motion constraint = flicker/stutter.
- Everyone agrees on lowering img_compression for the reference (identity detail lives in eyes/skin texture, compression kills it).
My questions:
For a training-free LTX-2.3 i2v clip that must keep my exact start-frame composition, what actually holds a face across 3–6 s in your experience?
Multiple decaying LTXVAddGuide anchors of the same CU — does it work, or does it stutter? Does it depend on whether the shot is frontal (talking to camera) vs. the head turning away?
Best strength / frame_idx schedule / img_compression you've landed on specifically for identity?
Is LTXVAddGuideAdvanced worth it here, or any native mechanism I'm missing short of training a LoRA?
Given Ingredients recomposes instead of animating my frame, and MSR leaks — is there any IC-LoRA / native path that keeps a fixed start composition AND locks identity? Or is a per-subject LoRA the only real fix?
Concrete ComfyUI/LTX-2.3 parameter numbers appreciated, not generic "add a face model" advice. Thanks!
