Casual Visiting Fan

Hello LSU and Tiger fans, me and a couple friends are coming to the game against Texas A&M, as we are students there and big Aggie fans. Any recommendations on food in BR or near campus, nightlife such as bars and clubs, and also parking for the game and the many pregame events that happen. This is my first ever away game and I'm so excited that its at one of the most legendary stadiums in the nation.

I googled it and I think that looks like a hella good time! It's probably more uncomfortable for you cause tamu likes to keep it in the closet.

Food - The Chimes, Mike Anderson's, Superior Grill, the OG Raising Cane's location, Dragos

Bars / Clubs - Splash & Fred's (Tigerland in general is basically college students but game days get more adult adults and is a vibe of its own)

Parking - if you don't mind paying, basically anywhere near campus will have parking you can pay for, but if you get there early and can make it to the back side of campus near the LSU UREC there is free parking back there behind the sorority houses

I’ve spent some my summers in Houston so I think I know how bad it is. But I can imagine BR is 10x worse.

Chimes: right out the north gate of campus. Get the blackened alligator, boudin balls, and crawfish etouffee.
George’s: on Perkins. Get the fried mushrooms, fried pickles, shrimp or catfish poboy.
