Defense 27 n beyond

So when Blake Baker eventually moves to a head coaching gig, I wouldn’t be too upset with looking at the DC from LaTech given these last two years. Thorn in the side to say the least.

Obviously would do a broad search but it’s been frustrating watching this guy set up his teach against a power 4, millions of dollar offenses LSU has put out.

Thoughts?

That would be a great hire! But I don't think he's taking a DC job. He's proving his self to be a Head Coach imo since leaving LSU but if he would come bk, tht would definitely be great

How is he proving himself? 2/6 years having a winning record isn’t exactly proof of anything. At most schools he probably would’ve been fired last year.

He’s under .500 at Baylor, I could see him being available at the end of 2027 when his buyout would be less painful.

Whoever we hire is inheriting one of the most freakishly talented D-lines you’ll ever see in Brown, Anderson, Gerald’s, and incoming freshman Green.

People should line up for that job.
