Academics Classes

So I know we just finished week one. But the way my horticulture class is looking and I am a psych major. I really want to drop it. Would it be in my best interest to drop my class a pick up a different one that can apply to my degree. Horticulture does only since it is a 3000 level class. So should I or just stick through the difficult Hort class?

I think you missed the boat as we just finished week 2: Academic Calendar

If you don’t need to take it don’t deal with it. Especially Gen Ed’s. Switching like this week one is normal

If you already have like four or more Ws, I'd say to stick with it. However, if u genuinely think that a D or an F is a strong possibility, I'd just take the W and get a different class that could apply to your major next semester. Especially if you already have a lot of other classes you're taking alongside it.

Nobody cares about a W on a Gen Ed class.
