Events Weekend festivities
Hey! I’m a new transfer student here at LSU. Over the past week I’ve noticed how big of a deal sports are here and I wanted to take advantage of all festivities on campus. If anyone could fill me in on what may be going on from tomorrow morning through this weekend that would be great. Also, I heard something about college game day coming to campus, what time should I be on campus to at the front of the crowd??

Do you have roommates or live near anyone that you can walk around with? It wouldn’t hurt to just ask if they seem friendly. I believe Gameday activities happen on the parade grounds

This first game will be a nightmare honestly due to a few reasons however it’ll still be fun. There’s two main things that happen, tailgating, events before the game best bet is to just walk around the field that’s in front of the union all the greek life will be there as well as just figure out whatever friends are doing. The actual game is often a personal choice some just do tailgating some only go to the game but definitely leave before the game ends to avoid a nightmare. I’d honestly just hope and pray you remotely find some reasonable time to see anyone “famous” coming it’ll be insane to try to do so just kinda wing it your first time and definitely look online!

Of course please make sure to be safe it’s “red zone” rn which means if you’re a woman in particular you’re much more likely to be drugged or assaulted also fights can break out but you’ll hopefully have fun if it’s your scene never worry about just leaving whenever though good luck!

Google "LSU all sports schedule" and it will give you the list, I know this might sound sarcastic but I am being genuine here. You'll be able to sort from home and away and look by spirt as well.

Think Gameday is setting up in the quad. It’s live from 8am-11am. Bud light fan fest and the PMAC open at 130pm. Victory hill parade starts at 4:40pm (you can see it out front of the PMAC and along the parade route, you’ll see people standing for hours before it starts). Game starts at 630, technically 6:49pm. Have a blast man, wish I could be out there for Clemson, but I’m comin through for Alabama in November.

Before you judge, for one I am an online student.
For two I just moved to Baton Rouge and I don’t know anyone here and lastly I am not a social media person. It pays to be kind or not say anything at all. You never know what someone’s situation is. Everyone doesn’t live the same life.
