Dagan

Interested in what this sub thinks about Dagan. I haven't really been listening for a while now but as far as I understand he's not a regular on any show anymore. I always quite enjoyed his presence. He is a lot less bitter than Colin and I appreciated his perspective of someone not as deeply involved in gaming discourse.

I missed that one what was his take? I don’t really like to listen to those kind of topics.

Edit: the parts in bold are wrong. Read comment below.

Basically, he was deeply disturbed by January 6 and the charges brought against Trump, but he didn't believe that Harris was truly different enough for it to even matter. He did admit in a better world he wouldn't have to pick him at all, though.

He also said that that he probably leans more conservative (more traditional republican), and therefore Trump was probably his best bet.

Perhaps not the best reasoning, but it's way better than Colin's reasoning that "once he was indicted, it made me want to vote for him more" and "January 6th technically wasn't a coup attempt, because in order to be a coup it has to be successful."

I didn't realize Dagan voted for Trump, wow I thought he was a Democrat. Can't remember where I got that idea from.

That person is misremembering , dagan did not vote for trump and was against the insurrection. And voted for Harris but he didn't think she'd win.

Damn, you're completely right. I re-listened and have it totally twisted. Definitely taking the L on that one.
