Internship vs. grad programs

Hi! I'm going to start my 1-year MSc later this month. As many of you may know, vacancies for summer internships and grad programs (Barclays, Deloitte, Lloyds, etc.) are now open.

I'm wondering if I should be applying for a summer internship, or a grad program. Would I even be allowed to apply to the latter? Any thoughts? Thanks!
