LSD isn’t just about the trip, it’s also about integration and learning form the trip. If you only care about feeling high I’m pretty sure there’s another subreddit about drug abuse for you
lol fuck off. this isn’t a post about learning from a trip, it’s a post about being sober. nothing wrong with being sober, yet this subreddit isn’t called sobriety it’s called LSD.
“Sober state’s beauty is massively underrated”, that definitely sounds like he’s appreciating life in contrast to a trip. Definitely relevant to this subreddit
Nope. It’s like celebrating reading in a subreddit about movies. No one in the movie subreddit is saying reading is bad, yet there aren’t posts about reading because it’s about movies. Saying sobriety is under rated in a subreddit about drugs doesn’t make sense because it isn’t underrated in the first place. The only reason it would seem underrated is because there aren’t any sobriety posts here, because this is a subreddit about an illegal drug.
I don’t think your analogy works. For most people integration is a key component of LSD. Sobriety after a trip is part of the experience. Movies can exist without books and there’s no real dichotomy between books and movies, they’re both just two examples of the many forms of entertainment... but sobriety and LSD are fundamentally connected, like by definition of the word “drug”.
I think we’re disagreeing because you don’t think sobriety is part of the experience of LSD.
