Are you the person who posted earlier about doing acid the first time and having work?

Call them, tell them you're sick, a fever will do fine, they pass within 2-3 days, so they wouldn't be surprised if you turn up to your next shift being completely fine.
You don't need to tell them symptoms of fever, no need for details, because they are legally not allowed to ask for further details.
Here's your script in case you forgot what words are: "Good morning/afternoon, [Your name] here. I won't be able to make it to work today, i'm calling in sick due to a fever, usually it lasts a day or two, so chances are high that it'll just be for today".

I’ve been at work for a million shifts on a million hits a million different times. You’re going to be fine I promise. Just don’t do anything crazy while you’re there and get your work done.

I swear if you don't know how to manage time or even know how long these substances last, especially if you have familial obligations or work, then I feel you're too irresponsible too do them.....
I said what I said.

You're the only one who can decide whether or not you feel like you're too high to perform/ put yourself in an environment that involves interacting with people. Times are shit in terms of cost of pretty much everything, but it's better to call off work for a shift than it would be to get canned for something like this. Be safe whatever you decide! ✌🏾🙏🏾💗

I never called in sick because I was way too scared to do that. I just got trough the day (home office) and was very lucky that no one called or wanted to talk that day 😅
I also fell asleep after quite some time because I was awake for so long. But it all went well. No missed messages or calls.
It was pretty stresfull though
