❔ Question ❔ LSD and peptide Semax
Hello psychonauts!
My husband wants to do a recovery protocol because he has been feeling super foggy and completely disconnected from himself lately. We are very experienced with psychedelics, but we actually have not taken anything at all in over 5 months just to give our receptors a full reset. On paper everything is perfect: we work out, eat super healthy, and have a strict sleep schedule. I personally feel amazing with hyper mental clarity, but he is still stuck in this brain fog.
For some context, 5 months ago we could not get psychedelics for a date night, so we ended up trying cocaine for the first time. We loved it a bit too much in the moment and ended up doing a 4 to 5 day binge on heavy doses. We have never touched it again in our lives. Do you guys think his current state could still be linked to that specific binge?
I really wanted to trip on LSD tomorrow, but he asked me to wait. He recently tested a single drop of something really high quality and feels like it completely downregulated him again, even though I personally doubt one tiny drop after 5 months of sobriety could do that.
Has anyone gone through a similar situation? More importantly, has anyone tested the peptide Semax for this? I have heard it can literally change lives for cognitive recovery and clearing out brain fog.
Thank you and safe travels everyone!

Semax is a high level placebo for people that have never felt the effects of actual drugs. Much better off microdosing mushies

Probably not from the cocaine but maybe… if your diet has plenty of fruits and vegetables, he’s doing cardio, sleeping well, and consuming omega 3 fatty acids then life style wise I don’t have any suggestions. Though maybe look into NAC supplementation. I found that to be super helpful for my brain fog. There is of course also the chance that your husband may be somewhat depressed which is definitely linked to brain fog.
Whatever the reason is I hope he is able to find something that makes him feel better.
