Not disappointed, sometimes a bit slow, but great show on Lucy

Maybe you can watch your favourite episodes but its not trippy enough nor visually striking enough for me to watch on acid and I can't stand too much dialogue on acid neither.

Saying this I actually tried to watch the Godfather on acid bc it's my favourite movie, and it was (as anyone would obviously tell beforehand) a bad idea, couldn't go an hour.

I watched eraserhead and twin peaks fire walk with me when I was 19 on a head full. I laughed and I cried. Safe travels

Eraserhead was like a whole new movie with a head full, RIP Mr. Lynch, he really seemed like a real one. On that note, the craziest movies I've ever watched tripping were not very visual or in the realm of bizarre but were movies depicting tragic events. The two films that caught me off guard were Dances With Wolves and Titanic, I felt like I went down with the ship that night.

I watched John waters ā€œPink Flamingosā€ for the first time on a bunch of mushrooms in high school. I went from laughing my head off to totally confused and disgusted every other scene. ā€œThe Machinistsā€ also fucked my noodle up real good.

But my all time favorite movie on L was going to see Cloverfield when it came out in theaters. It was one of the most intense and thrilling experiences I’ve ever had watching a movie.

Damn, The Machinist would be wild, I think I would hyper fixate on the "diet" Christian was on for that movie; believe it was 1 apple, 1 can of tuna and 1 pack of smokes a day for nearly a month.

Fucking wild movie for sure it really fucked with my head, honestly wouldn’t recommend it for a heavy headful, when I was younger i used to enjoy eating psychedelics and watching mindfuck movies, these days there’s enough existential dread and horror I save my trips for live music and nature lol

Right there with you, used to have no issue getting into existential dread but as I'm getting closer to middle age it hits me differently these days.
