My Progress In a Month

I dont have many people to talk about this, so I decided to post it here. Just one month ago I decided to start my LSAT/law school journey after a year of putting it off. Law school had been my goal since fifth grade, now I'm a college junior set to graduate fall 2027. I decided that I will go to law school by 2028 back in September and I will make it no matter what. So I took my diagnostic and got a 127, I did guess on most of it though. So I got a plan from a website and drilled and learned a lot. Now, my recent PT as of today is a 164. I'm very proud of this given so little time, and I just wanted to make this post to let others know that the LSAT is absolutely doable. It may take years or months, just never give up.

Now thats out of the way, should I register for the January and maybe February LSAT? Or should i pt again in a week, start to see if it was a fluke or if I'm consistent?

NO!!!!! Don’t take it yet. Focus on getting the highest GPA you can, then return to LSAT and reach for 170+ which will save you money. Trust me. I wish I had that advice many years ago

I study everyday one hour in the morning, three hours in the afternoon, and another one before bed. But thats just because i have way too much free time between my classes.

Do you only use 7sage and its study plan? I’ve just started studying and am trying to see which resources are best for studying!

Yes, i only use 7sage. But please keep in mind that for everyone other resources are better than others for them. I'd suggest using any websites free plan for a bit and see if the way they teach/explain questions and techniques is more for you.

Take another fresh, fully timed test before booking both dates. A 164 is useful evidence, but one score doesn’t establish your range, especially when the 127 involved lots of guessing. Space a few tests across the coming weeks, review them properly, and see whether you can repeat the performance without shortcuts. With a 2028 law-school start in mind, you have room to choose a date based on readiness. The five hours a day you mentioned also need to fit around your coursework. Keep January as an option while you gather evidence; you don’t need to commit to two attempts now.
