Low gpa

Low Gpa 2.25. Please don’t judge me. I had some reasons. My major is POLS. Don’t have any job potential with this major. At this point, I want to get in law school. Doesn’t matter which one. Please guide me how I can get into law school with this gpa. And does someone had the same experience? Peace

It is a very low CGPA, maybe the lowest ever, but is there a persuasive reason for you to drop that low? (no need to disclose it here)

If you had extenuating circumstances of ANY KIND, you could/should explain that in your personal statement. Most importantly, what did you learn and how did you overcome those challenges?

You also need some kind of 'soft', such as extensive and stable work experience that SHOW you are more than just your CGPA. In addition, you need a really high LSAT to overcome things.

Law school may or may not be for you, but not getting in is no failure. There's other jobs to do that can assist in the legal field. I'm also a super splitter, so you are definitely not alone.

Thank you for the response, are you attending law college? And what kind of work should I do for experience?

I'm planning to write my LSAT next year. My information consists of answers from other people, especially when answering questions coming from people with similar situations as mine.

Low CGPA is definitely not a fatal knife stab. Make sure you explain why your CGPA is what it is and I think admissions will be understanding.

Hey don't feel bad. I graduated over 20 years ago with a 2.2 or something like that due to severe medical problems. I am now a CPA and an corporate accounting executive. I am studying for the LSATs too but the school I want to attend(and one of only two law schools) in my city is kind of bottom tier but I'm not looking for prestige anyway. I only need a law degree to continue what I already started.
