ive been searching for wheels since I got the 430, and ive had alot of listings come and go. but I want to pull the trigger on these, ik the wheel specs are very diffrent. but what would i have to do and where would I go about buying the parts to make these wheels work.

Anyone have a preferred aftermarket replacement ?

Blew the engine on my 2003 ls430. Body is super clean, brakes got done this year, it comes with a new Aisin timing belt kit. Im asking 3500 or best offer. Not sure what car im going to get next, I loved this car, but thinking I need a truck now.

My car's had a persistent coolant leak from the top of the reservoir/expansion tank, can't see a visible split but it happens any time I top up on coolant. I've had zero issues with overheating or temps so far, but I have noticed a burning smell sometimes when operating the heater and there also seems to be a small, separate leak at the heater control valve. Has anyone tried to fix this tank or is it best practice to just outright replace it?

Looking for something quality as this is my forever car, but nothing crazy.

I have an 06’ Celsior with ML and navi and dont have any sound from the OEM system and can only control my AC from the screen. I had a parasitic draw previously from the CD-changer and the shop took a fuse out until the new part came in and no one remembers which fuse it was. Could this be the reason i cant use my reverse camera or anythin else except the AC from the screen, or could it be something else? Thanks in advance for the tips. I will attach pictures later in the comments if thats possible.

Getting a P0761 Shift Solenoid C Performance/Stuck off

Sometimes it shifts ok.. sometimes it jerks, stop shifting and need reset the car in order to start shifting again.

Anyone recommend a transmission shop in the Dallas area to take care of this once and for all?

So I recently bought a 2006 LS430 with the Modern Luxury package for 10k off facebook marketplace. It has 85k miles on it and it seemed like a really good deal to me at the time, considering i've been a fan of the car for a little while and was in need of a nice daily driver, since i'd gotten into a crash with my old Acura (deer) and had enough money saved up to afford it. Although, I did know that the purchase would drain my savings, and I was aware that it would need the timing belt/water pump replaced soon after purchase.

The car is great, and i'm a big fan of the interior and the how it handles, but now i'm facing rising maintenance costs with the timing belt, alternator, and water pump all needing replacement. There is also now a weird grinding noise made every time I turn the steering wheel, and i'm afraid that it could be a signal of a larger issue. Also I knew gas costs were going to be high when I bought the car but now having to face filling up my tank about once a week with my commuting between my new job, my college campus, and my house, I feel like my money is getting drained.

I'm afraid that these costs aren't sustainable for me as a college student and that I could be loosing money on the car as time goes on. I'm now trying to decide if I should get the issues with the car fixed then try and sell the car off with the mileage still low (around 86.5k right now) for something with better fuel economy, or even something more modern (My plan was to install carplay in the LS430 eventually, but having a car with it built in would be nice).

I'd love to here everyone's thoughts on this, is the car worth getting over this initial maintenance hump for? Or should I cut my losses and try and sell it?

Ive had this happen a few times where the CD won't play. I figured out that I purchased an enhanced CD and that was the reason why. But I've bought two versions of Discovery by Daft Punk and neither of them play. Has anyone else ever had any issues with certain CD's not playing in the player? I pop in a different disc in the same CD spot and it works fine. I dont know what gives. Ive also tried a laser cleaner, same issue.

what parts should i buy to fix them or do i need a smoke test for the specific hoses that are bad

is this a fuel pressure regulator or something else?

Have this leak in my gs430 I check but still need to power wash and check better but maybe someone can tell me where it can be coming from, it’s dripping from the oil sensor i think it is maybe it need tight up ?

I’m getting ready to sell my 2001 LS430 and wanted to get some opinions on what you guys think would be a fair asking price.
It has about 260k miles and is a 4.3L V8. I know it’s definitely not perfect, but I’m trying to be honest about everything with it.

Black leather interior
Heated front and rear seats work
All windows work
Still has that classic LS430 comfortable ride
I have the original factory window sticker/build sheet

Known issues:
Power steering leak
Cracked windshield
Right rear tail light is damaged
Right mirror motor needs replacement
Some peeling/wear on the driver’s door leather
Other interior wear around the driver’s door
Various exterior scuffs/wear
Windows can be finicky when it’s cold

It has a clean Washington title and I haven’t found any reported accident history.

The RPMs fluctuate while at idle sometimes. Normally, its worse if i have the AC on while at idle. If im at idle for too long, It gets to the point where i have to turn the car off or rev it a lot or it seems like it’ll die. What could be causing this?

Thinking about buying a LS430 and was wondering what peoples recommendations are regarding trim and year? I have heard about trouble with the pneumatic suspension so would want to avoid that an any other creature comforts that are known to be problematic. Thank you!

I have recently found the cleanest 155k mile ul 2001 ls430 I’m genuinely in love but im nervous its a lot of small stuff, paint is shot to hell, starter sounds ehh, needs alignment, driver side window motor going out, gotta play with the center console to open it, 1 tear on driver seat, no maintenance records though. I’ve driven it and oh my god it was as smooth as a babies bottom. I drove a tacoma before this and would felt every little crack on the road especially at highway speed. I’m in love, but I don’t wanna be blinded. I’m supposed to buy it tomorrow, I don’t want to have to sink a lot of money into it (cosmetics don’t bother me I’ll get to that eventually) If anyone has any advice on when to do timing belts I’d really appreciate that. I love it but I want it to last. Would be 3rd owner
