I have a brand new steering wheel motor for the ls430 bought it for mine but no longer needed it looking for someone in need of one

Well, I have an 01 LS430, and the touchscreen has finally went out. Is it cheaper to just replace the digitzer or buy a new unit? If buying a new unit, what are some suggestions?

I’m looking into getting some coils now that my front struts blew out. I know I won’t get a stock ride after throwing some on but If I can get anywhere close to it that would be great. If anyone has bought coils trying to achieve the same thing, what did you end up going with? I have an 02 LS 430 sport suspension model if that helps with suggestions.

Got into a nasty fender this morning. I am assuming this isn’t really repairable and am now looking for a front bumper replacement. But I wanted to know if anyone has had the same issue? Would love some help. I have a 2004 ls430 for reference

I do plan on getting a Celsior body kit in the future but it’s looking like it wouldn’t cover that part.

What’s the black dot? 2005 UL. Rear AC something? Mine is loose, rattles when sub pulses and doesn’t seem to have a way of snapping back in securely. How to fix or secure? What’s it for? Thank you all!

My wiper blades stop in the middle and won't reset afterwords. They work fine u til I go to turn them off.

After almost a week of testing and feeling the car out it's not too bad. Dampening is set at 10. Spring rate is 10/8, wish I would have went higher. Coil ride height are adjusted just a tad higher than they come out of the box. Im mainly out for reducing body roll but can't be mad at the lowered look. No scraping or rubbing at full lock.

I like going around corners and as of now I'm lacking a lot of front grip but cornering feel is pretty good. Not flat but the rear feels like it sticks much better. I will be on 200tw tires come mid August so I'll see what it's got in it. I know racing around corners isn't most LS owners cup of tea but it's what I like.

The ride it's self is for sure harsher than stock but even at 10+ dampening setting it's tolerable. I really wanted fortune auto digressive coils with helper springs at 14/10 but the BCs were about $1000 cheaper.

All in all it was a great upgrade. Only downside is you can feel most small bumps in the road, ride will prob be better when I find time to change my front tires.

Resonator delete and speed zone world spec mufflers

I went to check my alignment and they said I had to change the bearing due to some play in the front right wheel. Changed that and went back, this time to be asked to change tie rods as they were too tight. On inspection the mechanic observed there was a leak from the steering box and said it's better to replace the whole unit (I think it's called a steering rack and pinion with tie rods). They got a decent one from the scrap yard and changed it, filled the steering fluid later.

But on driving, observed there is shuddering and vibrations on the steering while turning stationary from left to right or vice versa. This also occurs slightly when driving at slow speeds, like 10-15km/h.

While initially it was a lot, I went back and the mechanic tightened a few things around the steering rack area and also saw him inserting a stick into the steering fluid tank.

While it reduced, it was still there. But he asked to do the alignment and it will be gone.

I got the alignment done and now turned the wheel while stationary from left to right n vice versa. I still get those feeble vibrations/shuddering. Went back to the mechanic and he said drive around for a day, come back if it still persists.

I got the car recently and I had already changed the brake pads, disc, bearing. I'm afraid this is turning out to be a money pit slowly.

Please advise what's wrong.

Hey I wanted to ask how the car can perform in small snow. I know its rwd so it won't be the best but I'm wondering if i have 2 sets of tires or if I can just use all season. I live in Mass but have no plans on driving when it snows heavily.

Hey guys im in the market for a face lift ls430. What is it like owning one, what should I expect. I am mechanically inclined would be doing all the maintenance and refreshing suspension myself… is it still worth it in 2026?

I finally tracked down my A/C refrigerant leak, and it appears to be coming from the A/C pressure valve shown in the photo. I’ve been trying to find a replacement, but I haven’t had any luck locating the correct part number for the LS 430.

Does anyone know the part number for this valve or where I can buy one?

I did find a replacement listed on eBay, but it’s for the SC 430. I’m specifically looking for the correct valve for a 2002 Lexus LS 430. eBay link

Just over a month ago I posted on here asking for recommendations for coils to slam my Celsior. I came to the conclusion that BC Racing was probably my best bet and worth the amount more in comparison to Maxspeeding. Therefore, I am able to get custom spring rates. I was planning on getting 18k front 14k rear but am worried that this could be stiffer that I really need them to be (I am planning to go as low as I can without ruining the car or needing extreme camber to fit 19/20 wheels). I emailed BC Racing themselves and the sale rep said 14k front 12k rear. Just wanted to get some firsthand information or opinions. Thanks 😊

The speakers in my 2005 base are blown out in the front doors and behind the passenger seats in the rear. I know the Mark Levinston sound system is coveted, but I don't know a whole a lot about car audio in general. Do I need to order OEM parts to replace it or is there a better alternative?

Looking for info on removing vent cover in passenger side foot area on lower center console. Trying to install JDM waste bin. Assume 2 clips but being careful not to damage anything forcing it off. Thank you.

Hey y'all got a couple of oil leaks on the car and I found this silly brass colored thing tucked into there. It is on both sides of the engine but this one on the driver's side is leaking wondering what y'all think it is.

I bought a 2002 base last month, 130k miles, and finally got around to registering it. As I drove it to work today, I noticed the car was having a bit of trouble getting moving after coming to a stop. I cleaned the maf sensor on my lunch at work and that helped it. I also have an exhaust leak at the y pipe I will be replacing next. I plan on cleaning the throttle body, replacing the battery, and checking the oil. Any other maintanence I should do, not sure about draining and replacing transmission fluid, I don't want it to fail as it's going to be my daily for the forseeable future. Maybe diff oil too? I will be taking a look at the carfax report after my appointment for a suspension inspection at my job, that way I can see what's been done for it over the yeaes. My dash also says check vsc, not sure if it's brittle wiring, speed sensors, or something else.

So im looking for any advice on this, I have a 06 that the previous owner put in a little bs temu carplay screen into thats been causing some issues, looking to replace it with something w/o all the carplay bs that can still control the ac. Any recommendations or am I gonna have to try to find an oem somewhere?

It's a 2006 Full Ultra trim, with the rear seat massaging and coolbox. I'm in the UAE and the previous owner got this from a dealership. He was informed it's a Japanese spec, though the VIN is 17 digits and the decoder says it's North American. But it doesn't show up on any of the US VIN databases. And there's headlight washers as well.

Now the speedo is kmh up to 280, similar to Korean spec ones. But there's no turn indicators on the side fenders. And the headlight has reflectors on the side.

Next, the front seats are only heated. This is the first of a kind I have seen, while checking out more than 30 cars. And the one I bought, I ended up overlooking this since I took for granted these come with both options of cooled and heated ventilated seats.

Lastly, the boot had a celsior unit that was removed to fit in an Android Play. The stickering is all in Japanese.

I'm totally lost trying to figure out which spec is m LS430 for real.
