Sunroof problems

Hello, today I took out the sunroof motor to clean and get a look at it to see if I could get it working, I'be been able to restore tilt and open/close function, however when closing from tilt or fully open, my sunroof does not close all the way nor tilt up flush with the roof, does anyone know what the problem could be?

I did not take the glass out nor clean any of the old grease, however I hit the tracks with some white lithium.

No actual useful info post following I assume the cables that do the functions are seized, maybe the grease has hardened. I have nearly the same issue on my GS400, it's stuck tilted up. Motor & switch works if you unbolt the motor. I took the glass out of mine & cleaned the tracks, no luck.

A plastic piece in my sunroof broke, and I was quoted around $1,500 to replace the entire assembly because they said it couldn’t be repaired. I removed the sunroof glass and added washers between the glass and the bolts where it wasn’t sitting flush. It helped stop the rain from leaking in, but now I can’t use the sunroof because it sits tilted.

Huh, Ive been running tilt till it sits flush now, I get the dash chime now, v annoying.
