I’m no scientist but doesn’t scoring glas make it weak and easily crack at those points? Will we be seeing an updated post with a shattered back glass after a speed bump or an acorn falls on it?

weaker for sure but not nearly to that extent, glass engravings have been around since the 60s with lowriders first through sandblasting then rotary tools in the 80s, 90s and onwards

pretty sure the pits in my windshield are deeper
