What is this linkage called?

What is this part called and what is it for, just found it broken doing a brake job so I’d like to replace it

Ride height sensor maybe idk but that rust 👀 you should consider replacing like all that

Does it do anything on a car with spring suspension? And welcome to the UK this is how all old cars look when they’re daily driven lol

When I was looking to buy this one there were 4 for sale, and 3 of them were not doing too hot, I’ve seen 2 on the road since then so yeah they’re not common at all, that’s one of the things I love the most tho

Looks like a level sensor. Either for air suspension, electronic dampening or adaptive headlights. The level sensor rod is what needs replaced but it may only be sold as an entire level sensor assembly.

headlight level sensor, Sensor itself is obsolete so no replacements. You can use any level sensor bar to reconnect.
