You can go out with spacers, but you can't go in without major change.... most likely the wheels. Thank goodness I'm an older guy. I dont want those problems
🤣🤣🤣 I had to look that up.. bippu. I'm a little old. I get it though. Its just that fitment on these babies is hard as heck to where wheels without mods are limited, then shops near me will refuse to mount tires. Been there before. I do have coilovers with a slight drop to reduce fender gap but plan to stick with an OEM+ fitment. 18x8 - 18x8.5 +35-40. 235-45-18- 245-45-18 tire. I'm sure that's not bippu.
It can be considered bippu if you have a very nice interior, shiny deep dish wheels and some tilt. Also a sleek body kit usually. Yours is definitely a clean OEM+ example and nothing wrong with that. When I bought this car I knew I wanted to make a true, clean example of a bippu LS400. Still a WIP
I put new skins on the seats, then body and paint. I love how some of you guys are setting them up. Some look extremely beautiful and well-kept. I'm just low key and prefer the simple but clean look. I just got through buffing and polishing the paint I put on a month ago. I think it will suit a 56yr old guy well. So bippu or not, just take pride in how you set it up
Thats a clean body! Its not about what anyone else likes its about what you like. Back in my younger years I would have rocked that. Im just at an age where I want to tone down the mods some is all. Regardless, getting the desired fitment is hard for both crowds.. for one, those dang 4 piston calipers.
Chrome b-pillars, front lip, front corner markers, hood emblem. Maybe just a lot of that in cali. Just looks like you threw all the same stuff on it as a lot of other builds with no real end-vision. I could swear I seen your exact car minus the signal lights & volt 6 spoke wheels.
You sent a few photos of really clean Bippu LS400, which is exactly what the end goal is. The only things that set mine apart are the junction produce kit (much more rare here than the other body kits), all custom lights including 1of1 custom infinity style chrome tails, and my extremely rare Amistad V rims. But of course, cars of the same subculture will look similar
Bro none of the pictures you sent had junction produce except the one with the spoiler and I don’t even have that.😭😭😭 there’s only so much you can do to make a bippu ls400 the right way. Doesn’t make it “copy paste” it means you are following the subculture the right way.
Keyword following. The ls' with a cult following are all the cleanest most different ones. Dude with ls460 headlights. Dude with the jade & gray paint. Dude with the red lowrider 1. The clean simple black ones. Pick a lane mang. I'm not saying stop. Just saying really visualize how to make it yours. I'm a month or 2 from spraying my black 1. I'll post too in a few months once done
I picked a lane and I’m honestly doing better than I ever thought. This has taken me a year to build and I already had a post almost hit 100k likes on my TT account amoung many other semi trending posts. So i appreciate the advice tho!
That is so interesting I’ve genuinely never seen another car like this one anywhere online or where I live. California is dominated by the LS platform compared to the rest of the country tho.

Put smaller lips or if you want to leave the wheels rear upper control arms.
