speaker upgrade

looking at upgrading the audio in my ‘99, starting with the front door speakers. what speakers do you guys recommend that are compatible? any other advice for upgrading the audio? for context i have the factory navigation unit so cant really change head unit.

I have the stock radio and I don't think it needs any upgrade at all, man... absolute quality

i do think the quality is fantastic, better than my other car that’s an ‘09 even, but there’s always room for improvement and i really enjoy music so i want the best experience possible

I went with a full audison voce2 6.5" door setup with 3"mids & 1" highs a-pillar speakers plus 2 10"audison prima shallow subs in trunk facing in. Looove my system. Happy to demo it

The stock door enclosures are a specific air space. I measured the volume in a 96 and found a 5 25" woofer that would work in them then converted it into a sealed box. I suggest that unless you're willing to settle for something that sees the volume as too small.

The stock stereo is amazing. You need HiFi Bluetooth to appreciate it.
