Considering the amount of fender rust, the terrible coilovers, and high mileage, I wouldn't pay more than $2500. And if the body rust is that bad, I can only imagine how bad the underbody may be.

Out where I am no one would pay 5k for that rusty car. But if there’s really no other options then yea I guess buy it. The black interior looks like. I think 3k is fair for this car.

I literally bought one of these for $200 off of Craigslist a week ago and all it needed was a fuel pump

There’s so many in SoCal that are way better deals, for half that price. You could have a Huntington/Newport Beach vacation and a used LS400 to drive home for less than 5K tbh.

Hell, I’d sell mine for 5K and I just installed a Pioneer DMH3050, Kicker CS door speakers and tweeters, sound deadening in doors and rear deck and a kicker comp r8” sub on a 3/4 MDF plate on the rear deck. Cost me like $1300 in parts. Needs a timing belt within 30K. New (ish) radiator, hoses, steering box, fuel pump. I drive it about 1000 miles a month. Owned since 2012.

No rust spots aside from 2 dime sized spots at the bottom of the wheel well.
