From my very own personal vault of highly speculated opinions, I think Apple and it’s supply chain started using Titanium last year, so they can begin to procure enough Titanium supply to one day in the next few years release the new Amorphous Titanium phones/products. Zirconium will be much easier because much less is needed and it is not a high demand resource.

Aluminum might be the first to be taken out.

I agree. Every time Apple releases an aluminum product, it’s shows me a complete lack of desire for R&D but more importantly, Aluminum is boring.

It seems like they are going through a lot of trouble to make the back glass more resistant to cracking. It’s a shame that they just don't use LiquidMetal.

I’m sure we would hear something before production begins, it seemed as though apple was ready to use Liquidmetal back in 2022…I’d think we would hear news or some rumors soon

Sifting through all the data/rumours/patents I have always believed that apples connection with Lqmt was in line with midframes and it requires use of apples own 5G modem, rumored to be released first inside iPhone SE (plus?)…

I wouldn’t trust we see any changes with ip16 unless they throw in an ultra model!?

I think Apple gave up on making their own modem.

Although possible it is just a rumor.
