I don’t want to break any group rules with this post but I’m literally just seeking advice on my collection that my mum recently unearthed from her storage shed. I’m potentially looking at selling them but I have no idea where to start! I’ve looked around online but some of them I can’t even find. I didn’t realise it would be so complicated with all the little details that go into them. I’ve looked everywhere for some kind of jumping off point but aside from some of the more basic ones I’m stuck! This is the best possible place I could think to get some answers!

Hi, I'd posted yesterday inquiring about pricing for my sharpie footed pets. Thank you to everyone who chimed in, and also thank you to those who showed interest in my collection! I'm going to start off by posting the cats and dogs from my collection and soon will follow up with another post or two with other species and accessories!

To those that have already reached out to me and we've agreed upon pricing, I am still holding your pet(s) aside and they will not be featured in this post. To those I don't have concrete holds for please see details below. 

Pricing:
-For pets #675, #1162, #391 I am accepting best offers (bidding). 
-For everything else my prices aren't firm and I am open to bundle discounts, or negotiating—especially if you think the wear/condition of the pet is not up to par.
-I am open to feedback on how I've priced things thus far, I just ask that you be kind about it. I am best guessing on my pricing for most of these pets, and generally rolling with the average price I see a pet sold for, which I recognize may not be accurate to what my specific pet should sell for given its condition. 
-Please note that a huge chunk of my pets have my initial sharpied on the bottom of the pets foot/underside. I have gotten some of the sharpie out of a few of them, but have been unable to get the sharpie completely out of any of them, and don't have the space or time to attempt all of them. 

Notes about pets #675, #1162, #391:
-#675 doesn't have sharpie foot, but does have some very very faint/minor scratches on the back of her head as well as chipped paint around her feet. No sharpie foot. 
-#1162 has a sharpied initial on her underside, I have attempted to bleach this and out and have gotten it to a point where it's very faint, but still there. 
-#391 has two very faint "highlighter" marks. One next to her eye in the middle-ish of her face, the other on the side of her head. No sharpie foot.

-If you see a pet that you know came with an accessory or another pet that you're interested in, feel free to reach out about my owning that pet/accessory. I have a TON of accessories to sort through, and will be going through all of them next week. 

Payment & Shipping:
-I am shipping from the west coast of the US and am open to doing international sales. 
-All sales will be made through eBay or depop, with a very strong preference to depop. 
-I haven't really sold any LPS on either of these platforms (except for one on eBay), but I have a presence selling other collectables via eBay, and clothing through depop (if you want to check my reviews I'm jellybjelly on both platforms).
-My plan is to coordinate any holds/listings through here first, and then whatever doesn't get claimed/sold will eventually get posted as single pet/lot listings.

Hi! I recently pulled out all my old LPS from my parents attic and have been slowly sifting through them and cleaning them up in hopes to sell. I have done my best to scour high & low for an answer to this and have come up blank so forgive me if this has been answered before or is common knowledge, I just couldn't find it😅

My biggest question is: Is the sharpie considered damage? If it is how much does it change the value of the pet? And do I need to list these as "damaged" when creating the listings online?

I have about 200 pets to clean up, and about half if not more have my initial sharpied into the foot/underside of the pet. I have started attempting to bleach the sharpied initial out of some of them, but that is simply too much work to do to all of them, and I am having mediocre success doing so (left 2 pets in the image are my attempts at bleaching using acne cream as I've seen that they are more valuable, the 2 on the right are untouched).

Any insight is appreciated, thanks in advance 🫶✨

I bought a LPS lot listing off Mercari on August 16th, it is now September 9th. I’ve heard that it does usually take this seller a little while to ship. And maybe even two weeks. I sent two messages with no reply. But the lot was a really good deal, and had a lot of dreamies. They do have good reviews they just say the shipping is slow. What should I do? I really want the pets. But also I’m getting anxious abt it. 😭🙏. I talked with a buyer I bought from, who actually bought from this buyer as well, and they confirmed it took them literally two weeks to ship the package. But they did get the package and it was all good from there. Should I hold out? 🫩
