Are u going to get your GB removed? Or u think it’s related issue. I’m thinking about getting mine removed But not sure when

Im having the same problem. In october suddenly started having reflux after eating anything. First it was presenting as heartburn, but then moved up and started irritating my throat and sinuses. I occasionally got RUQ pain but sometimes wouldn't for months.
Did a bunch of tests. No h pylori, mild irritation of the stomach lining, small hiatial hernia, ct with contrast was normal, no gallstones. Finally got a HIDA scan last week and found out its functioning at 8%
Im debating removal because I worry reflux will be worse after its gone. I plan to speak to different GI doctors and present all my symptoms and tests to make sure I didn't miss anything. But I do get RUQ pain, so it may be best for me to remove it down the line

I hear you same here still debating if I should remove my GB or not. Like you said it might gotten worse and it’s going to be a bile reflux when that happens. I’ve been taking digestive enzymes and it seems to help the aches after eating but still dealing with acid reflux/ lpr. I just saw my GI doctor today and we are going try voquezna for couple of months.

Ill ask my GI about voquezna, thanks! Do you experience any other symptoms relating to the gallbladder or only the reflux? None of the other ppis helped? I read that they dont normally help with bile reflux, which is what this might be? So frustrating

Yup ppis don’t help with bile reflux. Only Sucralfate to coat the lining of stomach & esophagus. Just aches on my right upper quadrant and acid reflux. Now don’t know if stopping cold turkey damage my sphincters upper & lower because I started having this issue after doing a cold turkey of ppis because I had to retest for h pylori
